Kayla Nicole's heartfelt dog tribute vs. Travis Kelce's car bash—who's living their best life?

Remember how Kayla Nicole supported Kylie Kelce after her dog passed away months ago? “Winnie girl. What a sweet life she lived,” Nicole wrote on social media, remembering the pooch. Travis Kelce’s former girlfriend surely loves animals because she was on the waitlist for months before she could bring home her dog Rambo from Las Vegas.

Well, it was her dog’s birthday on October 5. She shared tender moments with her dog on her Instagram stories and a short video—a sweet pup dropping its head on her shoulder during a trending TikTok challenge. “Dog muva for real,” Kayla captioned one story. The touching posts showed a different side of the influencer. While she was busy celebrating her dog’s birthday, Travis Kelce was indulged in a celebration of his own.

The Chiefs’ TE marked his 35th birthday with vintage cars and touchdowns on his mind! “I’ll take another Super Bowl if you got one of those,” he told Page Six about what he wanted for his birthday.

Kansas City buzzed with the second annual Kelce Car Jam, a block-party-style event showcasing the city’s finest automobiles from the Fuel House car club. Kelce even teased bringing his own ’70 Chevelle to the celebration, turning his birthday into a charitable powerhouse for young kids in both Kansas City and Cleveland through his 87 and Running nonprofit. That is the same car he and Taylor Swift used to drive around the city last year after the singer attended her first Chiefs game!

The Mahomes family, the entire Kelce clan, and fans were singing “Happy Birthday” among the vintage car displays. But people noticed that someone very important was missing from the celebration.

Taylor Swift’s absence from Travis’s birthday bash didn’t go unnoticed, though Kelce quickly addressed the speculation: “She will not be here. I know she’s coming in for the game,” he confirmed according to Page Six, referring to Monday’s matchup against New Orleans. The singer may have not been present but people surely couldn’t help but think about her because some of her songs were played at the charity event. This included ‘Love Story’.

Interestingly, the couple spent a chill night in Missouri with Kelce for his 34th birthday last year. Why the change in plans this year?

Well, Swift, whose grandmother Marjorie shares Travis Kelce’s birthday, chose to remain focused on her upcoming final Eras Tour performances.

Their relationship has gone through public scrutiny before. A resurfaced 2016 clip shows Kelce’s practical take on dating athletes: “If you’re dating a professional athlete, I do not believe, at least for me, that you have to go to all the games… There’s eight home games, eight away games, plus playoffs.” It’s worth noting Swift managed to attend 13 of his games last season despite her packed schedule.

The Chiefs tight end, riding high on a perfect 4-0 season start, seems more focused on his performance than attendance records. After posting 89 yards against the Chargers, he remained critical: “I didn’t have an outstanding game,” he told brother Jason on their New Heights podcast. “A big game is like, I score a touchdown or something.”

While Swift prepares for her final shows spanning Miami to Vancouver through December 8, Kelce rallied his birthday crowd with a challenge: “How about we go get a win on Monday night? How about that? You guys up for that?” The crowd’s response? Thunderous cheers – proving sometimes the best birthday presents come wrapped in victory.
