Kayla Nicole opens up about mental health—Is the spotlight too harsh on public figures?

Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, isn’t the one to hold back emotions when it comes to her mental health. Since her split with the Chiefs’ tight end, the model has been vocal about the struggles of being single, how to deal with criticism, and ways to manage poor mental health. This time again she came forth on her social to inform her followers that she might not have been doing well.

Earlier, at some point, she “was really abusing melatonin to sleep at night.” She realized that looking good doesn’t make you feel happy inside and went on a journey to improve her mental health. Nowadays, she’s focused on “feel-good fitness” and chooses to shrug off the past with a smile.

But, that is not the case always. Sometimes, a “pretty” compliment might trigger an unknown emotion. That is exactly what Nicole confessed to. Posting a photo on her IG Story that read, “I really be going insane & everyone around me just like ‘you are so pretty,” the social media celeb admitted, ““Bruh, this got me so weak. Cause, exactly, [laughing emojis].”

Most likely addressing how she might be struggling mentally and emotionally, while people will only talk about her outer appearance. Apparently, the phrase “I like your vibe” is also a pretty popular one. What does she feel about the flattery? Well, her reply would be “Everybody does lmao please leave me alone.” However, as she confessed to feeling not in the right space mentally, she has still managed to achieve great feats.

The most evident and recent achievement has been her brand “Tribe Therepe” recently, where she is “Redefining fitness from the inside out.” She even shared the video of the key to the headquarters and added: Progress is progress is progress is progress. No matter how long it takes.”

While this is one of the ventures she has taken up, Nicole seems to be invested in self-love and care ardently. It has developed her and made her confident. Confident enough to turn some heads on a ramp.

About a year ago, Kayla Nicole found herself modeling for the New York Fashion Week. She thanked Actively Black for making it possible and said, “It’s an honor to be a part of this proudly black community that’s really making its mark in the fitness/apparel space.” Nicole surely turned some heads in the orange swimsuit that she was flaunting.

She also laid importance to the fact that “it felt really good to celebrate this version of my body.” The video of her ramp walk has an excerpt from Deion Sanders playing in the background, “Your opinion of me is not the opinion that I have of myself.” Her ramp walk felt like she was channeling her inner Prime Time.
