On Sunday, Taylor Swift’s alleged boyfriend Travis Kelce, had a nightmare of a performance in Germany. The Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Miami Dolphins on November 5 in Frankfurt city for their international match. This Week 9 clash not only held the attention of the game but remained intriguing for the Red Sea due to multiple reasons.

The Chiefs were playing their first international game since 2019. Furthermore, they wanted to win this matchup after the embarrassing loss against the Orange team and to avoid continuous losses. While the Chiefs won the matchup 21-14, their star tight end Kelce had probably the worst show of this season, amid Taylor Swift’s absence.

Travis Kelce is hailed as NFL’s one of the best tight ends. Although he has been playing well since the season started, the 34-year-old has been at his best since the Denver Broncos game. And now while playing against the Dolphins, he had probably his worst show of the season. Kelce in Frankfurt was limited only to 14 yards with zero touchdowns, which is the lowest of this season, and the lowest against the Fins.

In the earlier matchups this season, Kelce was at least able to run for more than 40 yards in the regular season. Apart from the game, even his alleged girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was not present at the scene to witness him fumbling during the game. Interestingly, during Swift’s attendance at the Chiefs’ game this season, Kelce, in total, has been able to amass 34 catches for 432 yards and two touchdowns.

However, since their last matchup, Swift hasn’t been able to attend the Chiefs games, and as a result, it seems Kelce’s performance has been facing a decline as well. Meanwhile, despite Kelce having a game to forget, he also lived a day to remember.

The Chiefs are basking in their recent victory on the foreign soil. They dominated early with a 21-point lead by the end of the first half, with Patrick Mahomes throwing two touchdown passes in the final quarter of the first half. Although the Dolphins bounced back in the second half, the Chiefs finally pulled out a victory from them.

As for Travis Kelce, he might have not performed well this time, but the tight end finished the game with 14 yards on three catches. With this, Kelce’s career total for receiving yards came to 10,941, making him the new all-time leading receiver in the franchise’s history. He surpassed Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez’s previous record of 10,940.

However, Kelce still received criticism for his performance during the game. In the Broncos clash, too, the TE couldn’t perform well, running for only 58 yards, marking the second-lowest performance this regular season. Will the star be able to make a stronger comeback? Let us know in the comments.
