The Super Bowl rematch did not disappoint the NFL fans in any aspect. While the game this time around did not reach as high a scoreline as the SB LVII final, it was a nail-biter from the start to the finish. Ultimately, it ended with the Eagles exacting their revenge on the Kansas City Chiefs. Albeit the loss, it was the duo of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes that remained amongst the positives for the losing Chiefs, inspiring the bittersweet feeling.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs looked in control for most part of the game against the Eagles, leading with 10 points after the second quarter. However, the final quarter turnaround added to the pain of Kelce and the team, as he missed out on Taylor Swift‘s support as well as a 4th win against his brother.

The Eagles did a phenomenal job of keeping the Chiefs at bay and did not let them score beyond 17 points. In the fleeting moments of the game, Marquez Valdes-Scantling dropped the game-winning touchdown pass. While the expectations from the Chiefs remained high as they were leading dominantly at the start of the game, they soon started fading with multiple missed opportunities by the Kansas City team.
The Eagles and Jalen Hurts did it again with the tush push when the team desperately needed a touchdown. Patrick Mahomes faced heavy pressure in the second half of the game and could not respond to it quickly. Even Travis Kelce fumbled the ball in the red zone in the 4 quarter, when the Chiefs needed to control the game the most.
The Eagles played the right cards by allowing Jalen Hurts to assist Swift throughout the game. He helped D’Andre Swift in gaining 76 yards, changing the momentum of the play in the favor of the Birds. Noticeably, DaVonta Smith also made an impact in the game with his 6 catches for 99 yards.
The highlight of the match was surely the Eagles’ Swift-Kelce duo replacing the Chiefs. They completely turned things around for the Philadelphia side, making matters hard to reverse for the Chiefs.

It was a late blow for the Chiefs fans and Swifties after the parents decided to cancel the meet-up at the last minute. This was on top of Taylor Swift’s absence in supporting Travis Kelce in the biggest match of the regular season. Along with the off-field support, the on-field spectrum turned against the Chiefs real quick as well with the Eagles scoring 2 touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters.
In the major part of the game, the TE did all he could for his team, scoring a TD alongside a respectable 44 receiving yards.
