This NFL game turned into a legal MMA for sure. Patrick Mahomes tried one last time in the final minutes of Sunday Night Football. However, Travis Kelce and the receivers couldn’t connect with him and eventually slipped to fourth in the AFC standings.

The Green Bay Packers hosted the Kansas City Chiefs in snowy Wisconsin. As they aimed to achieve their third consecutive win, the Packers brought in their star players—QB Jordan Love and receivers, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs. Consequently, these players exceeded Matt LaFleur’s expectations, winning the game with a score of 27-19 and drastically thwarting the last attempt by the Chiefs quarterback.

In the fourth quarter, Patrick Mahomes and his squad had chances to lead for the first time against the Packers. Unfortunately, they couldn’t succeed on the road. Mahomes had the ball possession in the final 1:09 minutes. He took some time, circled, and then threw a Hail Mary pass to Travis Kelce and other receivers present at the end zone.

But his throw fell incomplete as time ran out. Furthermore, there is also a debate that the three Chiefs players didn’t receive the pass present in the end zone, as the fans claim it was “clearly a pass interference against Travis Kelce” by Jonathan Owens. The referees didn’t give a penalty, and the Chiefs’ fans think they are being partial.

However, this wasn’t the only potential red-flagged incident, as the Chiefs running back, Isiah Pacheco, was ejected from the game when the Chiefs needed him the most.

Patrick Mahomes was left all alone?

Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco was kicked out of Sunday’s game for punching Packers’ cornerback Keisean Nixon. This happened amid a few questionable calls from NFL officials. He left the matchup with less than a minute left in the last quarter. He might also face suspension or fines for the incident in the upcoming days. The incident occurred during a fumble return touchdown, which was later correctly reversed. Although it hurt Pacheco’s hand, Nixon was still wearing his helmet.

The punch resulted in a 15-yard penalty for the Chiefs in their final drive, which ended in a failed Hail Mary attempt by Patrick Mahomes. Considering the final scores of the game, the reigning MVP had 21 of 33 passes for 210 yards with a touchdown and interception each.

Travis Kelce, on the other hand, made four catches for 81 yards. While on the Packers’ side, the star player Jordan Love finished the game with 25 completions out of 36 attempts for 267 yards. Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs also led the franchise, with 71 and 72 receiving yards, respectively.
