Buffalo, be ready because you probably won’t know what hit you until the game’s over. Playoff Trav isn’t scared of the team that handed them their first loss this season. Yeah, some of you may feel the Bills did show the Chiefs are beatable after all. But that’s the regular season where Josh Allen is 4-1 against the KC team. In the playoffs, things are way different, with the Chiefs winning their last 3. Maybe the Bills will be riding high on confidence after sending the Ravens home last week. However, this is postseason Chiefs. They know how to get the job done, no matter the obstacles in front of them.

But the thing that makes this clash more entertaining than what’s at stake is the respect. Yes, whatever the rivalry they share, being a part of the same division, facing each other almost every year. Both teams know how to give credit where it is due.

Travis Kelce had some high praise for Josh Allen before their AFC title game on Sunday, “Josh [Allen] is who I used to dream about being like in the NFL…You know his ability to do everything. You know, obviously, you could tell. He’s really took the bull by the horns and really bent their leader up front. And channel that guys coming in and out of the building, and he is the main piece in their making that thing go week in and week out. I got so much respect for that guy.” And you know what? Kelce isn’t the only one who is relishing the idea of coming up against Josh Allen’s Bills.

Patrick Mahomes also considers this a huge challenge while refusing to take anything for granted, “It’s a great football team. Like I said, great players, well-coached. We know it’s going to take our best in the order to find a way to get a win.” See, the Chiefs are on an eight-game-winning run in the postseason. And that’s why they are standing on the verge of completing a 3-peat. However, it won’t be a walk in the park for the red team.

Because Josh Allen also knows what the Chiefs are aiming for, and that’s something also in their mind, “Going for a three-peat, that’s what everybody wants to be in this league. To have sustained success that they’ve had. They play great situational football. They understand when it’s time to go and when it’s time to kind of fend off someone. That’s what we’re aiming for.” Yeah, maybe the Bills do have a plan to stop the Chiefs. Like they did in week 11 in Buffalo, forcing Patrick Mahomes to throw 2 interceptions. But that was the only time the Chiefs had a turnover. Since that game, Mahomes’ offense hasn’t recorded any turnovers.

And the same could have been said against the Ravens. Baltimore’s offense only had 11 turnovers this season. However, the Bills defense stepped up and forced 3 turnovers. With so much at stake, nothing is guaranteed any more. Like Travis Kelce had already described, “It’s gonna be a dogfight,” while sending a warning to the Bills.

What’s your perspective on:

Can Josh Allen finally break the Chiefs' playoff dominance, or will Kelce's confidence prove too much?

See, Kelce didn’t just praise Josh Allen for the things he could pull off on his day. Kelce also refuses to put his head down and face the Bills. He is ready for what’s in store this weekend: “This is one of the biggest challenges we’ve had, so I’m excited to attack that challenge.”

Now, this isn’t the only reaction Kelce had about going toe-to-toe against the Bills. On the latest New Heights Podcast episode, he predicted this game could be a literal dog fight, “To go up against these Bills. We know they match up very good with us. It’s very familiar matchup. We’ve seen these guys a lot..That being said, it’s gonna be a dog fight.”

Dog fight or not, Kelce is surely up for the challenge. After recording just one game with more than 100 yards in the regular season, Kelce caught seven catches for 117 yards. His TD against the Texans in the fourth quarter proved to be decisive for the Chiefs’ journey so far. And if you go back in time to Kelce’s last playoff encounter against the Bills. He took 5 catches for 75 yards and two TDs.

So, whatever the Bills have planned for Kelce. Stopping him should be their No.1 priority. Otherwise, it will be Playoff Trav running wild in Kansas City this week.
