Fans have been seeing a lot of the blend of music and football in the past couple of seasons. All thanks to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s “Love Story,” giving us moments and headlines. This season, it’s more of the latter because of their tight schedules, leading them to miss each other’s moments. And the fear of missing out is stinging them!
Travis opened up about this on the New Heights Podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce. “Well, I had all the FOMO in the world with the entire family and a lot of our friends being there,” he admitted.
Can you blame him? I mean, when your partner is rocking the stage, and you’re battling it out on the field, it’s bound to create some serious FOMO. And, of course, your elder sibling annoyingly nagging you about how good it was does not really help.

Jason raved about the Miami show, saying, “Dude, it was, like, on another level. I texted you halfway through it like, ‘Dude, this rain, Tay is killing it!’” And indeed, it must have been a truly stunning experience with Taylor killing it!
But even then, Trav just could not have made it. He was making sure the Chiefs stayed locked in with that perfect record against the 49ers, on the course of completing the 3-peat! And the defending champs did it, won the game (replay of the SB LVIII) 28-18.
For Travis, it was like a double-edged sword! He was celebrating the victory. But also missing out on seeing his significant other steal the spotlight. Never mind, the Kelce family completed his absence.
As Jason noted: “Donna Kelce’s first show, Elliott Kelce’s first show, Wyatt Kelce’s first show. It was an awesome time down there, man.” With the final leg of the Eras Tour ahead, we cannot say for sure if Travis will be there or not. But Jason would wanna go, especially to squash the ‘sleeping accusations’. Uh-Oh!

Jason spilled the tea to Travis Kelce about the ‘sleeping’ incident
Jason Kelce might have been great at snapping the ball and blocking 300-pound defensive linemen. But apparently, staying awake at a Taylor Swift concert? Not so much—at least, that’s what the internet would have you believe. If you’ve seen the viral snap of Jason seemingly snoozing during Swift’s Eras Tour in Miami, you might be thinking, “How in the world does someone sleep through that?” But don’t worry, Jason’s here to set the record straight.
His brother, Travis Kelce, couldn’t resist bringing it up on their podcast. Travis teased Jason about catching some Z’s during what he called an “electric” performance. But Jason didn’t back down. He quickly jumped in, saying, “Vibing is the new snoring!”—and let’s be honest, we’ve all been there. He explained that despite what it looked like, he wasn’t out cold, just… deeply focused. His hand was hovering above his knee, after all, which, in his words, means, “I was slapping my knee!” Clearly, Jason has a new playbook for staying awake.

But it wasn’t just about the vibe. Jason shared that their seating situation wasn’t exactly what they planned. He and his family thought they had an enclosed spot, but they ended up out in the open, leaving them to soak up the Miami humidity alongside everyone else. No wonder he looked a little wiped out!
So, while the internet crowned him the “sleepy dad,” Jason’s got a whole different story to tell. And he cleared the air in front of Travis, who, I mean, who wasn’t really in a spot to speak anything about it considering he was not even there. But there’s always a next time when you’re in a “So High School” romance, right?
