So when an NGO Foster Love mentioned Kelce’s name in a story last month, Kelce felt the need to address it. Last month, the NGO reported that Kelce had purchased a $3.3 million home and that the Chiefs star was planning to turn it into a living facility for homeless youth, as per Sports Illustrated. So, as soon as the report made it to Travis, he “set the record straight.” On Wednesday, on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, along with his brother, the star TE addressed the claims made by Foster Love.

He did not call them out directly but did clarify that these are false claims. “Some false claims were thrown out there that I was doing something in the community that I was not. I’m not even going to talk about it specifically.” The 35-year-old made it clear that if anyone wants to know what he’s doing for the community, they should head straight to 87running.org. It’s the official site of his foundation. Without naming names, Kelce dismissed the viral claims as “whole nonsense,” putting the rumors to rest.

“We’re always trying to get out there and get in the Kansas City communities and the Cleveland community. But this time, I wasn’t doing what was falsely claimed by the social channels or the outlets posting all this AI stuff,” added Travis.

So, with that sorted, Kelce didn’t say much more. He has been spending his offseason quietly. And honestly, that’s how it’s been for him and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, lately. The NFL power couple seems to be keeping things chill and steering clear of the spotlight for now.

A few Kelce fans started claiming that ever since the Chiefs’ TE started dating Swift, his performance has declined. Many other NFL fans simply didn’t like all the attention shifting from football to a pop star.

In 2023, Taylor Swift put it bluntly that she and Kelce are not trying to keep their relationship a secret. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves. We’re showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don’t care.“

But it looks like Swift and Travis Kelce might want to change things now. A source claimed, “Taylor and Travis have learned that so much attention on their relationship is not the best thing.” During the Super Bowl in New Orleans, Swift was booed by half the stadium when the camera showed her. Just a few days before the big game, Kelce and Swift were spotted out at a restaurant in New Orleans. That led to some fans criticizing the Chiefs’ TE for spending time on dates instead of focusing on the gridiron. Especially with such a huge game right around the corner.

“I wasn’t the best leader that I could be,” Kelce later admitted on an episode of the New Heights podcast after losing to the Eagles. So, after all that chaos, the couple now wants as much time out of the spotlight. “Travis wants to take [a breather] from the public eye. He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted. He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor,” a source told US Weekly.
