The Associated Press provided an early glimpse into this year’s lineup, which boasts an eclectic mix of talents from various spheres of influence.

The prestigious Webby Awards has announced its nominees for this year. Guess who is among the celebrated names? They are none other than household favorites: The Kelce brothers and pop sensation Taylor Swift herself.

They trio will not compete with each other as they are nominees for different categories. It’s undeniable that Taylor Swift holds a massive social media following and has been acknowledged for her impactful social advocacy. And, her Instagram message urging her 283 million followers to register to vote has earned her a nomination in the esteemed “Best Creator or Influencer Collaboration Features (Social)” category. Swift’s advocacy led to 35,000 voter registrations, highlighting the power of her influence beyond the realm of music.

What’s particularly noteworthy is Swift’s collaboration with other musicians, like Doja Cat, amplifying the impact of her message and emphasizing the spirit of collaboration that defines the Webby Awards.

Meanwhile, Kelce brothers, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, are nominated for their engaging sports podcast, “New Heights” which have captivated audiences, earning them a spot in the “Best Sports Podcast” category. This is not the first time, in November, the New Heights show soared to the top, claiming Spotify’s No. 1 spot for sports podcasts worldwide in 2023. It also received the title of the top sports podcast in America and the leading American football podcast in the US, as recognized by Spotify.

Jason and Travis Kelce have bagged many awards

Travis was named Athlete of the Year at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, a prestigious recognition following his Super Bowl triumph and amidst his high-profile romance with pop sensation Taylor Swift. Beyond his recent People’s Choice victory, with three Super Bowl championships, nine Pro Bowl appearances, and multiple All-Pro selections, Travis has left an indelible mark on the sport of football. Additionally, he has received honors, such as the Chiefs’ Ed Block Courage Award and the NFL’s Charity Challenge Award.

Whereas, Jason Kelce’s trophy cabinet boasts of  accolades, including being a Super Bowl champion, a six-time First-team All-Pro, and a seven-time Pro Bowler in the NFL. Additionally, his college career saw him earn recognition as a two-time Second-team All-Big East player.
