The Panthers were moments away from finding themselves sued when a young fan slipped through their stands. On the day when they made the reigning Champions work hard for their last-second victory. All the attention could have shifted elsewhere if not for Chiefs’ defensive end Tershawn Wharton’s quick reflexes. Watching back the scary footage that went viral, Travis Kelce was also present within the frame.
Witnessing the probable accident from a few feet away has got Kelce bashing the Panthers stadium on his New Heights Podcast. Catching up with his brother, Jason Kelce, the Chiefs TE expressed, “I don’t know who the brainiac was who cut the railing right there. You see how there’s a little gap? What the f— is that for?” Kelce putting up that question got Jason sharing his thoughts while taking a hilarious dig at the Panthers, “Who knows? Maybe the Panthers are anti-kids.”
Kelce then went on to urge the kid to sue the Panthers, “Dude, he should f—— go to school with a neck brace on and sue the f——- Panthers. Get rich quick, kid.” While suggesting the idea of suing the Panthers, Kelce didn’t forget to shout out Tershawn Watson, “Shoutout to Terk for making sure the little guy was alright. Once I saw Terk was over there, I knew everything was good.”

Before the Kelce brother shared their thoughts on the incident in their podcast, Wharton, the hero of the moment, appeared on The Pat McAfee Show yesterday to break his silence, “It was a natural reaction. Usually, when I leave a game I try to throw my gloves in the crowd. I heard my name a little bit and then I saw him coming down.” Seeing the kid wearing the Nick Bolton jersey slip down the unprotected region prompted Terk to push him back to the stands, “I just had to push him into the stands a little bit so he didn’t hit too hard. I kind of grabbed him right by the back of his back and pushed him into the stands a little bit more.”
Wharton also went on to reveal how he wishes to invite the kid to a future Chiefs game, “I haven’t spoken to him, but I would like to reach out to him and a get him to a game and be able to reflect with him a bit more if I could.” How great will that be for the little Chiefs supporter? From getting saved to watching his idols play live, it would probably be a dream come true if it does happen. But for Kelce, it wasn’t a smooth sailing day as he also went viral for his frustrations with Patrick Mahomes.

Travis Kelce caught throwing expletives on camera
While the Chiefs had to grind their win out of Carolina, there was a moment where Travis Kelce appeared to have lost his calm. When trying to catch a pass from Mahomes 10 yards downfield, Kelce could adjust his body in time. Mahomes little inaccurate pass ended up hitting the turf even after Kelce threw both hands toward it. This got Kelce turning around in frustration while hurling an expletive that was caught by the cameras.
Although that was just a rare moment of dissatisfaction between the Chiefs duo, Kelce’s day wasn’t that bad. He finished his afternoon catching 6 passes on 8 targets for 62 yards. Well, moving away from the frustration, Kelce expressed his excitement at seeing the Chiefs make it 10-1 in the season. Taking to his Instagram, the 35-year-old posted, “Double-digit dubs!!” As the Chiefs get back in the winning column after a heartbreaking loss to the Bills last week. Don’t be surprised if you witness them mustering yet another streak until the end of the regular season.
