And she’s done it! After writing articles calling her a “$740 million celebrity” or “almost billionaire” singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift finally broke the $1,000,000,000 ceiling. Yeah, that’s 1 followed by 9 zeroes! But that’s with just the North American leg of her Eras Tour concert. In November she will take to the road, or should we say skies, again as she takes her concerts to the international stage with 89 concerts lined up till June 2024. That means more money for the billionaire singer!

Travis Kelce, her rumored beau, may not be on the same level as her. But he sure is making big moves as well. Kelce’s recent forays into other sports with money from his NFL contracts will see him secure his future for life after football. But anyway, if the two finally decide to set down roots together, they will make one hell of a power couple!

The 12-time Grammy Award winner recently achieved the billionaire status. She earned $400M through her music albums that she has released since 2019 and raked in $370 million through concert ticket sales and merchandise. Her YouTube channel, which has 54.5 million subscribers, earned her $120 million, while her 5 homes are valued at $110 million. She also accrued $80 million in royalties from her music sales. Phew, that’s some serious money!

However, she’s not just raking in millions for herself but is also making waves in the American economy. The entertainer’s 53 concerts in the homeland have added $4.3 billion to the country’s GDP, according to Bloomberg. “In addition to being a generational talent, Taylor Swift is a great economist,” said Carolyn Sloane, a labor economist at the University of Chicago. “Taylor has great ideas, is able to scale her ideas and seems to be pretty risk-seeking.”

Mastermind, indeed. She released a slew of songs during the pandemic and as the world began to open up, she started touring the country, doing live performances. People were willing to spend as much as $254 for a chance to see their idol. And that’s not even taking the resale value into account. Kelce will make $14 million this year, while Swift makes $13 million every concert! Now that Kelce has special access to Taylor Swift, maybe he could take a leaf out of her book.

Travis Kelce: Ace footballer, enchanting lover, budding investor

It seems that’s exactly what the Kansas City Chiefs TE is planning to do after he purchased a $6 million mansion in a gated community, away from the prying eyes of the world. Vanity Fair reported that the purchase came amid the need for more privacy as paparazzi began circling his house like vultures ever since the outside world got wind of the Kelce-Swift dating rumors.

But apart from real estate, the 34-year-old also has major investments in F1. Along with his best chum, 2x SB MVP, Patrick Mahomes, Kelce picked up 24% of the F1 team, Alpine F1, in a group investment worth $210 million. “The opportunity to lead an investor group with Travis in Alpine F1 alongside Otro Capital was one I couldn’t pass up. It’s an exciting time for the sport and this is an opportunity to bring our shared values to the world stage,” Mahomes said of the investment.
