Whenever the NFL season rolls around, the same question is asked again and again–Will London get its NFL franchise? Many believed that by 2022, the league would establish a London-based franchise. Although no further decision has been made so far, many still hope for this, along with the NFL’s star duo – Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce.
The NFL has been hosting games in London since 2007, with three games held in the 2022 season–two at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and one at Wembley Stadium. Hence, the strong interest from UK fans has sparked talks about creating a London-based team. Even NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has mentioned the possibility of London supporting two franchises and introducing a European division. But the question is when? The Kelce brothers tried to answer it with their speculation, along with supporting the creation of a London-based franchise.

In the June 26 episode of New Heights hosts Jason and Travis Kelce discussed the possibility of an NFL team in London. To know further about Travis’ feelings, Jason asked him if he would play for a team in London. The younger Kelce promptly responded with a yes without any hesitation. The tight end even mentioned that playing abroad would be the only situation where he would consider playing for a team other than the Chiefs. Additionally, he speculated that an NFL team could be in London within the next ten years.
Moreover, Jason supported the idea of an NFL franchise, while showing his excitement, saying, “If there’s an NFL team, the first city it’s coming to is London. I’ll go on record for that…..there’s the most amount of fans here. There’s the biggest appetite in London. It’s a major market.” He continued assuming, “The only other cities that it would also be in would be like, I know Germany has a lot of NFL fans, so there probably will be a German team in Munich or Berlin. But I think London’s getting the first one if it ever happens.”
Well, it remains to be seen in the future if London gets its team. But as of now, it seems the Kelce brothers want it badly for the capital, ahead of any other potential franchise based teams.
This topic of discussion came after Travis Kelce called Prince William “the coolest motherf**ker.”

Explaining their experience and adding a comic touch to it, the Kelce brothers recalled, “They were an absolute delight to meet. Wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hand… We wanted to be polite, especially on this side of the park.” Travis found the Royals delightful to meet and highlighted that meeting him was the best part of the day.
After the show, Swift posted a birthday message for Prince with a selfie of herself, Prince William, George, Charlotte and Travis Kelce.
