The Chiefs aren’t performing up to their usual expectations and so is Kelce. Still, he is bringing in the advertisers and catching their attention more than anybody else. Taylor Swift’s connection can certainly not be ignored in this phenomenon of Travis Kelce.

Everybody wants some of Travis Kelce

2X Super Bowl winner is the most successful receiver in the Chiefs’ franchise history. Not only that the 34-year-old is regarded as one of the best WRs of his generation. Yet he was never able to catch the stardom that he is enjoying until this year.

The 8-time Pro Bowler appeared in 375 commercials this year, surpassing any other celebrity during the NFL games. His reputation as a bonafide superstar is now firmly solidified, despite his below-par performances.

This season Kelce has received less number of catches than last year and scored even fewer TDs. Just 5 for this season, compared to last season’s 12. However, one thing that has favored him this year is his budding romance with pop queen Taylor Swift and his teammates agree as well.

This smells like a Swift effect

The popularity of 12X Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift cannot be denied. And it seems that Kelce is gaining just by her association. Not only that the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes considers Kelce lucky as well.

“He’s lucky enough to be with a great girl, a great woman”, said Mahomes in a recent interview. It seems the couple ‘Swelce’ (as dubbed by the fans of the duo) are going to conquer the world of entertainment, just by being together.
