It’s three years into the ownership story of Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenney of Wrexham FC. Since then, the club has come a long way, achieving two promotions in a span of three years. Their popularity also increased thanks to the documentary ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ streaming on FX and Hulu. Promoting the third season of their Emmy-winning documentary, on the Dan Patrick show, they gave a shout-out to Jason and Travis Kelce, with McElhenney stating, “I know for sure the Kelce brothers are coming out to a game.”
The Kelce brothers, Travis Kelce & Jason Kelce, replied to the invite in their new preseason segment called ‘Who’s Talking About Us’ on their podcast ‘New Heights‘. Travis Kelce stated, “I really do want to go to a game, man. Have you been following Wrexham at all?” To which Jason replied, “Oh, I do. I’m a big Wales guy. I follow all of it.” The retired Philadelphia star had previously tweeted about his love for Wrexham as well.
