Even the great Lionel Messi seems to have his limits. But, it seems like that limitation doesn’t stop the NFL GOAT, Tom Brady, from sharing his thoughts on him. So, what did Brady come up with?
Tom Brady’s IG story sparked a lot of reactions on 25th August. But what was so special about that story? Well, Tom seemed to have a wish to see Messi play in Birmingham. The former quarterback shared David Beckham‘s IG story, where he was seen with the two footballers, smiling at the camera, “I’m bringing @leomessi back to Birmingham with me.” But that’s not the first time Brady showed his love for Messi.
The former Buccaneers‘ QB didn’t hold back from congratulating Lionel Messi on his joining the Miami soccer team. “Leo, I wanted to say congratulations on the big move to Miami,” said Tom on a 2023 X post of Inter Miami CF. In addition, Tom Brady also praised Lionel Messi as a great athlete in 2018, just before the ex-QB lost his Super Bowl game against the Eagles. “I love Messi; he is a great player – however, I am a little older than him,” is what the former QB used to praise the 2022 FIFA World Cup champion. Well, it looks like the Argentine footballer has been admired by the NFL GOAT for years now.

But, the strong love for Messi seems to have made Brady blind to the footballers’ problem. And it looks like Messi doesn’t like the English weather. “When I had to play in England in winter time the truth is that I suffered a lot. I’m telling you, my feet feel hard, they fall asleep and I suffered a lot,” per the 8 times Ballon d’Or champion. But Brady still wished to see Messi in an English nation.
Apart from expressing his expectations of Messi, with whom did Brady spend his time on Saturday’s match between Inter Miami and FC Cincinnati?
A strong bond between the NFL GOAT Tom Brady and soccer legend David Beckham
The 7-time SB champion was seen to join Beckham in the stands at the Chase Stadium on Saturday. Their wholesome moment showed nothing but his smiling face with the ex-footballer. Moreover, the soccer legend made a heartfelt moment as he gifted Brady with a custom Inter Miami jersey ahead of the game. The No.12 pink jersey had the name ‘Brady’ in it, as Tom was seen holding it and smiling at the camera with the former Midfielder. But this thoughtful gesture between the duo was not the first time they’ve put their friendship on display.
In January 2023, the ex-QB posted a photo on IG of him and his cute daughter, Vivian, hanging out with David and his 12-year-old daughter, Harper. The blissful snap was captioned as “Daddy Daughter Dates ❤️,” by Brady. And that’s not all as in 2019, the former quarterback commented on some sweet photos of Beckham and Harper, “The sweetest!!!!!.”
