Greatness inspires greatness. NFL GOAT Tom Brady is an embodiment of these words. For over 2 decades, he amazed football fans with some hardcore football, winning 7 Super Bowls. Even after hanging up his boots, he has remained a force in the sports scene by becoming a minority owner in the LV Raiders. Before that, the former Patriots quarterback became a minority owner in the English soccer club Birmingham City. They were going through a bad phase, but the year 2024 proved to be Harry Potter’s time-turner for them.

After winning 23 of their 32 league games till now in the EFL League One, they are returning to the 2025-2026 EFL Championship. Even Brady was impressed as he posted an IG Story for his soccer team with a 5-word message that read, “BIG WIIINNNNNNN KRO LFG BLUES @bcfc.” It happened after the Birmingham City FC won against the second-placed Wycombe Wanderers F.C.

The club also celebrated their big win by posting the photo of the only goal scorer of the game, Taylor Gardner-Hickman. He celebrated his 2nd goal in 2 games in his signature style with one hand on one eye and one hand signaling one. And what is the inspiration behind it? Tom Brady has been giving a gentle push ever since becoming the owner.

In 2023, he visited the city’s local pub, where he met local fans. In a 2024 interview with Sky Sports, he explained his stance on the ownership, saying that he wanted young athletes to reach their full potential. That has worked wonders for the team. Their forward, Jay Steinsfield, is leading League One in most goals scored (16). So, the team has taken inspiration from the GOAT and is aiming for the glory.

While his soccer team is performing well, the owner is also concerned with his NFL team. He brought in HC Pete Carroll and GM John Spytek to overhaul the roster. But they still need to figure out the most important position. Signal caller!

Can Tom Brady's magic turn the Raiders into champions, or is the QB issue too big?

Pete Carroll is failing to close the QB trade deal

Pete Carroll is a visionary. He brought in a young QB, Russell Wilson at the Seahawks, after which they went on a roll. They qualified for the playoffs in 10 of 14 seasons at the Hawks. Add Tom Brady as the co-owner, reviewing each choice. It’s a tough interview board. The rumors were strong that they might bring Wilson to the Raiders. But things are going back to square one.

Yahoo Sports’ Jori Epstein made a bombshell claim that the HC might not sign the veteran. She said, “The fact that they said it worked out fine and not great when the man had what like nine Pro Bowl and two Super Bowl appearances, including a Super Bowl title. That’s wild to me but also makes me question the degree to which he wants Russell Wilson.” That’s fine.

The age and recent performances go against the 36-year-old veteran QB. He had poor outings with the Broncos before going 6-5 with the Steelers in 2024. In a shocker, they lost the last 4 games of the 2024 season in a row. That goes against the giant rebuild plan of the Raiders. They want someone young to start.

Amid all this drama, Shedeur Sanders is praising Tom Brady as his childhood influence. Is this a potential move? If that happens, it would be crazy.
