Tom Brady and Gronk back at it—Is this the best NFL duo of all time?

The legendary Patriots duo, who won four Super Bowls together, were seen catching up yet again, but this time, the place was Jacob Javits Convention Center. Away from the days of gridiron glories, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were taking part in a Fanatics Fest NYC that multibillion-dollar global sports distribution giant, Fanatics, operate.

Projected to bring out more than 100,000 attendees, the event will bring stars like Mike Tyson, Derek Jeter, Kevin Durant, Ben Stiller, and most importantly, our Foxborough legends, Brady and Gronk. Sharing a moment from the Fanatics event, its official Instagram account posted a reel where Gronk was seen trying out a new position. Tackling Adin Ross, a popular streamer from Kick, Gronk, was hyped up as Fanatics called out the TE for his natural cornerback skills.

Well, the former Patriots TE wasn’t the only one who was seen trying out new things at the event. As Brady was also spotted on Thursday, trying to shoot basketballs, hockey pucks, baseball and pummeling a punching bag. Fanatics founder Michael Rubin, who orchestrated this extravaganza, stated, “There’s not another company that could pull this off. Because they don’t have the relationships with athletes in different businesses and leagues.”

Speaking about bringing athletes together, Rubin did bring back memories of the duo who spent 11 seasons together at the Gillette Stadium. Sharing an on-field chemistry that people still talk about, the Patriots were a team to beat during that era. Winning four Super Bowl titles together and numerous other accolades, Brady and Gronk’s connection remained strong even after the QB’s departure to join the Buccaneers.

Already retired, Gronk decided to come out of his retirement for one last run with his buddy in Tampa Bay. Well, it was a glorious ending to their Hall of Fame career as the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl LV by dusting away the Chiefs 31-9. But this is not the first time Brady and Gronkowski were seen together after hanging up their cleats back in 2022.

Going back to 4th of July celebrations, the Patriots duo were seen attending Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July bash. The event had over 350 guests, including Jake Paul and LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne, who were all gifted with a pair of customized all-white Nike Air Jordan sneakers. But that’s not all, as each of those kicks was designed by rapper Travis Scott who added his personal touch to the footwear. After a few days, on July 6th, Gronk decided to share some snaps from the event on his official Instagram account.

His post was captioned, “July 4th, 2024! One for the Books!! What a PARTY”, which had a series of photos strung together. The images included his girlfriend, Camille Kostek, business tycoon Gary Vee, Dolphins receiver Braxton Berrios and Tom Brady. Although the photo had the two ex-Patriots together, it went viral after Brady’s comment. The seven-time Super Bowl champion commented, “Love being with you,” with three red heart emojis.

Many of his followers left hilarious comments after Brady’s response, with some stating, “You sound like his girlfriend.” Adding to the fun, one blessed their bond, saying, “Like to see the friendship y’all have. Ignore all the haters on the replies.” Looking at their recent interactions, this off-field partnership is only beginning to take pace. Gronk who was already working as a Fox Sports analyst, will soon be joined by Brady on the set. As the new NFL season breathes down our neck, we could hope for bigger surprises as the duo’s new chapter has well and truly begun.
