The Los Angeles Rams are having every flavor of victory this season. Talking about the last two games? They’re pretty much a mixture of thrill, drama, and chaos. Even so, the results are favoring the Rams, QB Matthew Stafford and the roster are not completely happy with the way the team is playing. And as the postseason is around the corner, they gotta find a way to better themselves.
Thursday night’s victory over the San Francisco 49ers counts as the 7th in their last 9 games and man, that was quite a game. The conditions were not ideal; the offense was thrashed by the rain and zero touchdowns. No doubt, the QB is frustrated when every single game is asking tough questions. Despite that, the Rams had the last sigh.
“Yeah, that is a tough game,” Stafford said during the post-game interview. “Obviously, we didn’t start the way we wanted to on the offensive side of the ball.” Indeed! The rain wreaked havoc on both the offenses and there was no trip to the end zone this time for the fans.

The Rams had four punts, and zero first downs in the first quarter of the game, and finished the first half with only 89 yards of offense, which was their lowest of the season. Though, the Los Angeles team picked things up in the second half, thanks to fantastic defense and, of course, Puka Nacua’s 51-yard reception.
Stafford managed to complete only 4 passes out of 12 for a total of just 23 yards. The QB launched a deep pass that found Nacua wide open. With a spectacular 51-yard reception, the WR put the Rams in a field-goal-winning position and Joshua Karty did the honors. But despite the win, the team’s lacking, and Stafford is very aware of the gaps.
Matthew Stafford is not happy with the team’s issues
The Rams have had a rollercoaster season if we look at their O-line, one of the reasons, the QB is not happy despite the rain-soaked win over the 49ers. Let’s rewind a bit when the Rams faced the Buffalo Bills. That was one of the most exciting games of this season so far, no doubt there.

However, their offense, despite putting up impressive yardage, struggled to maintain consistency as they had to withstand the Bills QB, Josh Allen, who is performing at MVP-caliber levels. The Rams heavily relied on their running game and went on to record 42 rushing attempts. However, the QB showcased a splendid passing yardage and threw for 320 yards and racked up two TDs.

“We gotta find a way to get better,” Stafford stated when asked about the future of the team. “Obviously, it wasn’t great today. But we’re finding ways to win the football game whether it’s scoring 44 last week in shootout or leaning on our defense in the run game this week.” Truth be told, despite their O-line struggles, the Rams stood out with the defense against the 49ers.
However, as Matthew Stafford and the Rams are closing towards the postseason, it’ll be exciting to see how well they come out with their offense,
