Has Joe Burrow lost his magic, or is the Giants' defense just that good?

What the heck is going on in the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants game? It was boring for the most part. Nothing happened till the beginning of the third quarter, except Joe Burrow’s 47-yard touchdown run in Q1. By the time the first half was over, Burrow only had 96 yards. The Cincy team might want to do something if they want to improve the 1-4 record.

Not that people expect a lot from the New York Giants and their QB Daniel Jones, but he’s going yard for yard with Joe Burrow and that’s what’s concerning. Is the Giants defense good? Or has Joe Burrow turned into a mediocre quarterback? Even Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins didn’t do much. The fans are not happy with the Sunday Night Football presentation.

But the game became an eyesore when the Bengals lost the ball to the New York Giants after Joe Burrow’s shovel pass to his RB. The RB fumbled the pass, and it was recovered by the New York Giants football team. It was shocking to see the the Giants get the possession . Let’s look at what the fans are saying about the boring game. But before that, a short recap of what happened through the first three quarters.

There’s honestly not much to say. It took 3 quarters for the New York Giants to put some points on the board after Tyrone Tracy Jr. ran it in for a 1-yard TD. The Cincinnati Bengals replied by putting 3 more points on the board with Evan McPherson’s 37-yard field goal. Everyone’s curious to know what happened to Burrow, Chase and Higgins combo and why this game feels like a nothing burger.

Joe Burrow and Daniel Jones’ battle dubbed an eyesore

One fan mentioned how this was an “L snf game.” The New York Giants were finally able to put together a scoring drive in the third quarter, but fans were upset with the lack of scoring throughout the first half. One penned down, “can someone score already.” Another football fanatic was short of words when he mentioned, “This game….”

Another one had lost all the hope and was convinced that there were no touchdowns coming anytime soon. He wrote, “So how long until the next 3 and out?” Another one talked about the low energy of the game when he wrote, “No one wants to win this game.” However, for some others, “This game is a joke.”

Perhaps even funnier is the fact that the New York Giants were doing better with their 2-3 record while Bengals were fighting to improve their stance to 2-4.
