The Philadelphia Eagles are in a world of pain right now, after losing 4 in their last five. There seems to be no respite for head coach Nick Sirianni and his men. Now legendary broadcaster Colin Cowherd displays his dissatisfaction with the squad.
“I’ve been Mr optimistic with the Eagles, but they lost 35-31”, said Cowherd, lamenting on the support he has given to the Philly team. But even he cannot defend this fresh loss against the Arizona Cardinals. Now, the broadcaster has HC Sirianni in his crosshairs.

After losing back-to-back against the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys, Sirianni made an exceptional change. The 42-year-old coach demoted defensive coordinator Sean Desai and promoted Matt Patricia from within. Even after the change, the Eagles lost to the Seattle Seahawks and with this recent loss against the Cardinals, the 59-year-old longtime broadcaster calls the coach out.
“This Philly mess doesn’t feel like it’s just a personnel mess”, said Cowherd, reflecting on the great players in the team, unable to win. Not only that, the broadcaster also questioned the ability of the HC to replace his coordinators before the season even began.
“Sirianni had two great coordinators! They both left and it looks like he kind of missed on the next guys”, said Cowherd. There seems to be some truth in the words of Cowherd. Especially since the mess that everyone saw with the demotion of DC Desai. But where are his Super Bowl coordinators?

For the last 2 seasons, Sirianni’s coaching staff was the talk of the league. That hasn’t been the case with his present OC Brian Johnson & DC Sean Desai/Matt Patricia. Previously, Sirianni’s plans on the field were executed by OC Shane Steichen and DC Jonathan Gannon. Both left before the beginning of this season.
The 38-year-old Steichen is currently employed as HC for the Indianapolis Colts, pushing them toward the playoffs. And 40-year-old Gannon is the HC for the Cardinals, even though his team is out of the playoffs, he did secure a victory over his former boss, Sirianni.
