Who knew the fit and lean-built Kelce brothers loved chomping on sugar-loaded treats? That’s true, however, as the two brothers revealed their guilty pressures growing up and how they were spoiled by their dad, Ed Kelce. While we get to see Donna Kelce at almost every Chiefs and Eagles game, Ed is more elusive. However, he has given his two kids memories that they will cherish for life.
Every new episode of the New Heights Podcast is another chance for Chiefs and Eagles fans to get two of their most beloved players deeper. And today the two took a trip down the memory road.

“You can’t make this s**t up!” Travis Kelce as the two said out loud, at the same moment, “Diet Pepsi”. What about Diet Pepsi? It turns out that whenever the two would go out on a road trip with their father, his “American” dad would always buy king-sized boxes of the sugary treat. The two brothers would then devour them. Not very father-ly of him, right, spoiling his kids like that?
Jason and Travis also recalled how every 45 minutes his father would stop the car, step out, and pretend to fix a flat tire. But he would secretly be taking a smoke break, not wanting to fill his car with smoke. “That’s an American father,” the Chiefs TE said as he hinted that every American father has a habit of stocking up on Reese’s cups, and Diet Pepsi and taking smoke breaks on long rides.
We sure would have loved to have a dad like Ed, who let us eat those forbidden sugary treats. Since it’s Halloween, the two also discussed other candies that gave them the sugar rush. Much needed for the younger Kelce, who is coming from a defeat at the hands of a 3-5 Broncos.

Travis Kelce’s nightmare ahead of Halloween
In the Sunday Night Live match against the Denver Broncos, everyone thought the Chiefs would easily beat the Broncos. They had already beaten them once a couple of weeks ago. Nothing big must have changed since then. But they were utterly wrong as the Broncos upset their 6-game winning streak this season. What’s more, they also upset a major franchise record. For the last 16 games, whenever the Chiefs and Broncos had clashed, the Chiefs had won.
The defeat of 24-9 was an embarrassment also because the Chiefs had failed to score any touchdown. All 9 points were the result of field goals by Harrison Butker. Now as the Chiefs prepare to take on the Miami Dolphins in Germany, will they learn important lessons from the Broncos’ defeat? The Dolphins had beat the Broncos 70-20. Will they manage to repeat the same with Kelce and Co.?
