A lot of questions are hovering over the Philadelphia Eagles after the loss to the Seattle Seahawks. A game that held utmost importance for both the teams, handed the Eagles their fourth defeat of the season. While the QB Jalen Hurts and coach Nick Sirianni expressed their disappointment with the team’s current run, sports analyst Pat McAfee couldn’t help but empathize with the Phillys.

He believed in the team’s ability to bounce back. With a subtle reality check, the host talked about the Eagles’ current status and their standings in the division. McAfee speculated about the current playoff picture and what the loss against the Seattle Seahawks means for Jalen Hurts and his team. Despite three consecutive losses, McAfee believed that it was just another day for the Eagles.

As Pat McAfee and his mates deliberated the current playoff picture, the former certainly did not feel that the Eagles were out of the picture. While the conversation highlighted the recent performance of the Cowboys and the Eagles, it also focused on the “underdogs” Detroit Lions. All thanks to their win against the Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys.

However, it did not hold back Pat McAfee from calling the recent defeat of the Eagles another case of ‘it’s just a bad day.’ Showcasing faith in the Philly team and the Cowboys, McAfee mentioned, “We still have faith in the Cowboys on this particular program, we still have faith in the Eagles on this particular program.”

He was quick to add, “sometimes you just get your a** beat, like sometimes, that just happens.” It was McAfee’s way of  implying that the Eagles might not be having a great time and that these losses are common. However, he did reiterate that such defeats might become a problem for the Eagles and they need to quickly make up for three consecutive losses.

“It’s like three in a row for Philadelphia Eagles, they’ve got to get a hold of that, you know like they certainly got to get a hold of that because once too much misery starts creeping in and then it becomes just like understood that this is how it goes, like you can’t get that back. So, I’m worried about the Eagles a little,” Pat McAfee emphasized.

To ensure a comeback and to regain their consistency, there are a couple of things that the Philadelphia Eagles need to take care of. These will eventually keep their playoff dreams alive.

The room for improvement for the Eagles

The Eagles have become a team that has allowed the most points in the span of the last three games in the franchise’s history, before taking on the Seahawks. Considering the Seahawks game, the Eagles have given up 129 points. If that doesn’t say anything about the Eagles defense, then it is hard to say what does.

Also, they swapped Matt Patricia and Desai’s positions, which clearly did not work out for the Eagles. Now, this cascade is in question as well. Earlier it was Desai who used to communicate with the green-dot helmet, now he has given up that task to Matt Patricia, which has for now led the Eagles to a loss.
