The moment is here! The Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans faced each other for a wild card round today at NRG Stadium. But with uncertainty looming around the players, it is truly daunting. At first, it was Laremy Tunsil, a Texans tackle, who hurt his knee while trying to kick an extra point. Similarly, Joel Bitonio suffered an ankle injury, creating uncertainty for the team.

Tunsil’s injury took place in the first quarter when he came into contact with his teammate Josh Jones. Following the injury, he was immediately sent to the medical tent. Now it seemed Bitonio’s presence also remained uncertain in the matchup.

LG Joel Bitonio was injured when the defender fell backward into his right leg. Following the injury, Bitonio was immediately sent to the injury tent. In a recent update on X, NFL insider Judy Battista wrote, “Bitonio is hurt and going straight to the locker room.”

The incident occurred in the second quarter. During the last few seconds, Bitonio hurt his ankle while blocking as he unconsciously came into contact with LB Sheldon Rankins. Considering his situation, he was immediately helped off the field to the locker room. The Browns have replaced Bitonio with backup lineman Michael Dunn in the remaining 1:11 time left in the first half. Similar is the case for Tunsil, but he returned in the second quarter after sustaining a knee injury. Now the question is, will the Cleveland Browns be able to play well without Bitonio?

Cleveland Browns performance!

The Cleveland Browns got off to a good start in the wild card round. Joe Flacco connected with Jeromi for a great play, which helped the team. Later, C.J. Stroud made an impressive 21-yard field goal, giving the Browns a 3-0 lead. However, the Texans fought back when Flacco threw a deep ball to David Njoku, resulting in a touchdown and giving the Browns a 7-3 lead. But the Texans refused to give up and with a 75-yard move and a 38-yard pass from Stroud, they set up a 24-yard touchdown pass to Schultz, bringing the score to 7-10.
