Well, Mike Tomlin and his boys are surely on the right track as the Pittsburgh Steelers are leading the AFC North division with a 7-2 record. However, after a 28-27 win over the Washington Commanders last week, they are now set to host the Baltimore Ravens tomorrow at the Acrisure stadium. Talking about their upcoming game, the Steelers’ DC cleared the team’s intention for Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.

In the interview with NFL analyst Mike Garafolo, Steelers DC Teryl Austin talked about how the NFL’s second-best defense will stand against the league’s best offense this season so far. Austin mentioned that this game will be a hard-hitting game and the team who makes the least amount of mistakes will emerge victorious in this rivalry.

However, pointing out the two specific offensive threats, Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry for Pittsburgh, Austin said, “We are gonna focus on our run game and try to slow these guys down“. Jackson has been playing a good pass game, with 3-4 perfect pass-rating this year. He said, “We can try to stop them both, or we plan to first stop the run game and then the team can focus on the passing game doing what we can and hold them down”.

Honestly, the Steelers should be worried about the Ravens’ Jackson and Henry, as both are having a great season so far. The QB has a 69.1% completion rate along with 24 TDs and 2 Interceptions for 2669 yards so far this season. The RB has 184 rushing attempts and 10 receives along with 14 touchdowns for 1216 yards.

It is to be seen how Mike Tomlin and his men approach this game. Will they neutralize these threats and move past the Ravens for another win? Or will Jackson and Co. find a way to sustain the great Steelers’ defense? Only time will tell.
