At the start of the third quarter, Terrel Bernard crashed to the ground and injured his ‘foot/ankle’ badly. Cameron Wolfe updated the status by posting on X, “Bills LB Terrel Bernard was carted off the field with a right foot/ankle injury.”

The teammates surrounded him as he was taken off the field, “Several teammates went to him to show him love as he was loaded up on the cart.” Wolfe further stated that “Bernard is having an excellent season.” He played with the Bills in every game this season and recorded 6.5 sacks in total.

Wolfe acknowledged the Bills’ vulnerable state regarding injured players, “Yet another key Buffalo player lost to injury.” After some time another update followed, stating that Bernard had been ruled out from the rest of the game. Buffalo Bills PR updated the status.

After he was carted to the blue tent, he was taken in for an X-ray on his ankle, and as per sources he suffered from an ankle sprain. Ian Rapaport shared the update, “What is believed to be an ankle sprain, sources said. X-rays were negative, MRI tomorrow.”

Bernard has managed to evade the fracture and is hoping that the MRI reports don’t come with any concerns. The Bills would need him to be completely fit if they manage to reach the next stage of the season, with tougher conditions awaiting them.
