Has it ever happened to you that your favorite player is moved away from your favorite team? The dilemma you face is whether to cheer on your favorite player or support your favorite team. This dilemma is honestly more confusing than some abstract philosophical questions. Bengals and Tee Higgins fans are about to end up in the same confusion, as the WR’s contract with the team is set to end after this season. Another shocker for Bengals fans is that another top WR, Ja’Marr Chase‘s time with the team is also coming to an end.
As both WR1 (Ja’Marr Chase) and WR2 (Tee Higgins) look for new opportunities. They’ve decided to do it through the same person. The two will now be represented by the same agent, Caitlin Aoki. Caitlin, who works for Alliance Sports (the same agency that represents Ja’Marr Chase), will now handle Higgins too. It looks like the duo has formed quite a strong bond. From sharing the same team to having the same agent. That’s some friendship goals right there! Recently, Higgins parted ways with his agent, David Mulugheta, after four years of working together. Rumors were floating around about the Clemson alum having some contract issues with the team.
Potentially significant – Bengals WR Tee Higgins will now be represented by Ja’Marr Chase’s agent, per @KelseyLConway

Now, with Higgins changing agents, it’s hard to predict what’s next for him with the Bengals. To be honest, we’ve got quite a complicated situation here. Ja’Marr Chase’s contract with the team will be up soon. Although the Bengals expect him to play in the 2025 season, it’s not a sure thing. The WR hasn’t signed anything yet. Earlier, reports suggested that Chase was having negotiation issues with the management.
Given how well he’s been playing, Chase might be asking for a big paycheck. The Bengals can either pay him what he’s asking for or keep Higgins. If they choose to keep both, it’s going to cost them a lot. With all this going on, QB Joe Burrow shared his thoughts, but even that didn’t clear up what move the Bengals are going to make.

Even though the Bengals only have 5 wins to their name, a few of their players are making a splash. The QB Joe Burrow, and WR1 and WR2, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, make the Bengals’ offense as strong as anything. But imagine if the team decides to let go of anyone from this trio. It surely won’t be the QB, leaving both the WRs as options. If the Bengals let go of Higgins, it would make Burrow ‘disappointed.’ The QB said this in a post-game conference after the win over the Cowboys, “I’d be very disappointed in that.” For Burrow, Tee is the ‘need’ of the team. But he also said it’s not something that’s in his hands.
You know that feeling when your friends are changing schools or moving to a different city? You want them to stay, but there’s nothing you can do about it. The Bengals’ magnificent trio is going through a similar feeling. On the other hand, Chase, in a way throwing shade at the Bengals management, did say that the team can keep both him and Higgins. ‘Uh-oh! So, what’s brewing over there?’ Not only that, the WR, also having his fellow WRs back, said that Higgins deserves to stay on the team. And even though he knows it’s not in his hands, he wants the team to keep him around. “I feel like Tee deserves to be here. He wants to be here. “

Well, this is the NFL, and this world doesn’t run on emotions. It’s now up to the Bengals management to decide who stays and who gets a goodbye. We can only hope that the trio stays together, continues to entertain their fans on the field, and brings the team some big wins.
