Swift celebrated her birthday on December 13th in New York City. Despite speculation that Kelce would be present to surprise his love with a dinner party and a potential proposal, it didn’t happen. The Chiefs TE had to skip the singer’s birthday party as he stayed back in KC for “mandatory practices” before the Chiefs vs Patriots clash on December 17. However, according to rumors, the athlete has already given Tay-Tay a gift that she proudly flaunted to her friends on her big day.

Fans believe that Travis Kelce may have bought Taylor Swift a ring (not an engagement ring, though). Per reports, Kelce was planning something big for the singer’s birthday bash. Now, after her birthday celebrations on December 13th, Swift was seen flaunting an eye-catching ring on her right middle finger to friends Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry.

According to People Magazine, the statement piece features what seemed to be “an oversized opal gemstone with a halo of dark gemstones on the exterior.” Since Swift was spotted with the ring, fans have been speculating that it could be a new accessory gifted by her boyfriend, Kelce. Swift paired the piece with “a singular tennis necklace and a Clio Peppiat Lucina Embellished Stretch-mesh black mini dress.”

Fans can’t take their eyes off the shimmering gift and suspect that the jewelry holds a special significance. Swifties are now scouring the interwebs to find the meaning behind this new accessory.

Fans enthusiastically examined the ring to gather information about its origin, the type of gemstones it contains, and who might have given it to her. According to observations by a TikTok Swiftie, named @swiftieinkc, the ring appears to feature an opal in the center and blue topaz around the outside. Although the blue topaz element isn’t confirmed yet. But fans had their own takes.

Under the TikTok video, fans were quick to point out a few more details of the ring and shared their excitement over this thoughtful gift by Travis Kelce. A fan was convinced that it Kelce’s special gift to Swift and wrote, “The way she was holding her hand to showcase it, it HAS to be from him.” One Swiftie highlighted the importance of this gift while praising it and wrote, “This ring is a crazy piece of art!!! If it was a gift it’s a statement!!!”

A keen observer also wrote, “It looks like there are 13 stones around the opal too.” Another fan had a slightly different view and commented, “I really think it’s moonstone and sapphire. Goes with lyrics of bejeweled and trav talking about her aura.”  One more fan brought up Swift’s friend Keleigh Sperry’s Instagram story to confirm the opal nature of the ring as they wrote, “Look on Keleigh’s story from yesterday.
