It’s the magical time of the year as the holidays are upon us. Everyone is making holiday plans about where to be and whom to be with, but Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift seem to have already finalized their plans for this year. Since the Kansas City Chiefs will be playing on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, Kelce’s plans were already in place. But now, reports suggest that Swift will be there to cheer him on.

Taylor Swift is no longer just a singer-songwriter. She has become an icon. Being on the cover of Time Magazine and being named the 5th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes, she has become a global phenomenon. And as the reports suggest, this phenomenon will be spending two of the biggest days of the year in Kansas City, Missouri.

With a record of 10-5 in the season, the Chiefs have yet not been able to secure a playoff spot in the postseason. But they could do it in the presence of Taylor Swift. The Week 16 game against the Raiders and the Week 17 game against the Bengals are both scheduled on their home turf. So, Swift can be a witness to the joy of her beau Kelce making it to the playoffs.

The 2X Super Bowl winner Kelce has been to the playoffs numerous times. He has played on holidays before as well, but this time it will be special. “She’ll for sure be at the games”, a source close to the 12X Grammy winner had revealed to Page Six, talking about Swift’s presence for both the important games.

Swift recently became a billionaire as well, but her presence would be the biggest gift for Kelce, no doubt. But can the team cheer her up as well, or will their bad run of form continue?

Lady luck can favor the Chiefs

The Chiefs went on a 6-game winning streak at the beginning of the season. But since Week 9, their losses kept piling up. Hence, they are still battling for the playoff spot. Coincidentally, the Chiefs refuse to lose when Swift is at the games. And the stats seem to support that her presence is a blessing for the Chiefs.

Before leaving for the international leg of her tour, Swift was present at 4 of the Chiefs’ games and they went undefeated in those. For the next 6 games, when Swift wasn’t present in the stands, the Chiefs’ luck turned and they had their worst patch, going 2-4. Certainly, a case of lady luck for the Chiefs.
