It’s official now. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are now official on Instagram! Taylor Swift shared a sweet IG picture wishing Prince William a happy birthday, posing with his kids and Chiefs’ TE Kelce. She captioned it, “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.” This is the first official photo of Swift and Kelce together. 

The Prince of Wales celebrated his 42nd birthday with Kelce and Swift at the singer’s Eras Tour performance at Wembley Stadium in London. The royal dad was joined by his two children, Prince George (10) and Princess Charlotte (9), for a night of music and fun. Kate Middleton (the Duke’s wife), who is reportedly receiving chemotherapy and fighting cancer, wasn’t there. 

Meanwhile, Kansas City’s TE Travis Kelce flew in to join Swift for the Eras Tour. The singer was seen waving at him during the song So High School. She stunned the audience at one point by executing a technique that Kelce often does during Kansas City games: releasing an arrow from an invisible bow.

The tight end’s happy reaction to the gesture was so genuine that a fan even took a picture of it and posted it online. At the same time, an audience member uploaded a video of Kelce and his partner dancing to the song “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle,” which was a tribute to their skills.

While Swifties are celebrating the IG official couple, Chiefs’ TE Travis Kelce and Swift, Prince William can’t help but track another unforgettable encounter with the pop icon. 

Prince William cringes at following Taylor Swift on stage ‘like a puppy’

Even though Prince William isn’t well-known for his rock star moments, he did experience the spotlight thanks to a previous duet with Swift! As William and his kids watched Taylor’s recent Eras Tour performance in London, it reminded of the time when, William was unintentionally asked to perform Livin’ on a prayer with Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift at a charity event held at Kensington Palace back in 2013.

Recalling the incident, William stated on the Time to Walk edition of the Apple Fitness+ podcast in 2021, “I still don’t know what came over me. But frankly, if Taylor Swift grabs your arm, looks you in the eye, and says, ‘Come with me,’ Yes, that seems like a terrific idea, and I got up like a puppy.”

While Taylor Swift’s IG debut with boyfriend Travis Kelce and her birthday homage to Prince William is making hearts melt, it’s hard not to smile at William’s memories of following Swift on stage “like a puppy” back in 2013! It seems even royalty appear to be powerless against Swift’s magic.
