There is one NFL couple who never misses a chance to give a warm shout-out to their beloved: Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Be it the singer’s changing the lyrics to “Karma” for her beau or the football star’s surprise visit to her Singapore tour, the couple likes to keep things exciting. Now, the couple made headlines with their unexpected appearance at the 2024 Coachella festival.

The Chiefs’ tight end had flown to California right after filming a live episode of his podcast, ‘New Heights’ with his brother, Jason. After their reunion, the couple was spotted in the crowd, enjoying performances from Swifts’ friends, Jack Antonoff’s ‘The Bleachers’ and Ice Spice. As people scrambled to take photographs of the dancing duo, one accessory of the pop star stood out: her dark green cap bearing the name of the Kelce brothers’ podcast.

In an adorable shout-out, Swift’s cap read, “New Heights,” which is a merch item from the podcast. She twinned with Travis, who wore a white baseball hat that read, “Happy Gilmore.” After skipping the first day of the festival, the couple’s appearance in the audience was a pleasant surprise to fans. Especially since Travis was in Cincinnati mere days ago to celebrate his graduation in a live episode of his podcast.

But even during his wild antics in graduation outfits at the event, the Super Bowl champion didn’t fail to give a subtle shout out to his girlfriend.

Travis Kelce references Swift in his podcast

In probably the wildest episode of New Heights, the Kelce brothers graduated! In a live segment at the Fifth Third Arena, thousands of fans gathered and got a wild twist in the end, with the University of Cincinnati President handing Travis and Jason their long-overdue diplomas. Whereas beer chugging and the Beastie Boys’ “Fight for Your Right” blasting seem expected when Travis is on stage, it was one tiny detail that got fans talking.

The younger Kelce sported friendship bracelets on his wrist, which are synonymous with the Swifties’ support of the star. While the beaded bands have been often spotted on Travis ever since the couple started dating, it was not the only reference at the quirky convocation ceremony. The college band played a snippet from Swift’s song, “Shake It Off,” during a game show segment of the podcast, to which Travis confessed it is one of his favorites.

Oh, I know this one. That’s one of my favorites right there, ladies and gentlemen, alright now!” Travis exclaimed. Jason shared that the song was his four-year-old daughter Wyatt’s favorite as well.

While the “Cruel Summer” hit maker is an expert at Easter eggs in her songs and appearances, the Chiefs’ star is giving her competition with thoughtful references of his own. Travis and Swift are giving relationship goals, and it’s the perfect heart warmer to witness this offseason.
