TE Travis Kelce and his team the Kansas City Chiefs had a real off day in the absence of pop icon Taylor Swift. While she is raising the temperature south of the equator in Rio for her Eras tour, her beau TE Travis Kelce battled out the Eagles at the Arrowhead today. The veteran sports journalist Skip Bayless pointed out the reason rather cheekily.

Despite securing a substantial 17-7 halftime lead, the Chiefs lost their way completely in the second half and eventually gave away 14 points and not scoring even one. The Eagles have buried the ghosts of the Super Bowl final and served the sweet revenge at the Chiefs’ home ground with their 17-21 victory. Well, as Bayless previously pointed out. Those “schoolboy mistakes” indeed cost the Chiefs a crucial game. During the game fans rightly missed Taylor Swift as the Chiefs had never lost a game in her presence.

It all started with Skip Bayless’ cheeky post on Travis Kelce

TE Kelce is doing everything possible to spend quality time with Swift amidst his busy schedule in the ongoing season. Both his professional and personal endeavors keep him right at the edge and we are worried about how he even manages to do all of this. Kelce travelled to Brazil to attend the Eras tour during his bye week and Swift turned head over heels as she ran into kiss him at the end of the concert.

All this traveling, and attending parties and we all know about the snouts he takes is tough on the body of 33-year-old athlete.  The loss at home has also raised doubts on the same and Skip Bayless rightly asks a tough question!

In his recent post on X Bayless left the fans wondering as he asked “Kelce just looks of tonight. Makes you wonder why.” This has made the fans react as they too feel the same way and laid out their reasons through their reactions and some of them are straight-up hilarious.

Fans take subtle jabs after Travis Kelce’s blunders during the game

The NFC East division handed the Chiefs their third loss this season. Jason Kelce, who boasts a 13-year NFL career, not only defeated Kelce but also the Chiefs for the first time in his game career. As for Travis Kelce, multiple mistakes cost them this game. One of Kelce’s blunders was visible when he coughed the ball up inside the red zone in the fourth quarter. As a result, the Chiefs’ fans were left hanging for an incredible performance which never came. The best place for subtle jabs was Skip Bayless’ X post. One fan put the blame on Swift’s tour as he wrote in a comic tone “Skip’s definitely blaming the Argentina Swift tour tomorrow”.

One fan addressed Taylor Swift straightaway and wrote “Taylor made him fumble”. While we can’t raise the finger straightaway Travis Kelce needs to recheck his schedule for better.

Another fan wrote the actual reason why Kelce looked off tonight “Swift has that boy chasing butterflies.” Well, we can all agree to that!
