What happened to Josh Allen’s signature swagger? This was the question that probably haunted the minds of football enthusiasts and sports critics for the past few games of Bills this season. The confidence of the Buffalo Bills quarterback seemed to have come under scrutiny given the fact that he continuously threw interceptions. Additionally, during this phase, offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey was fired.

These concerns spelled trouble for the Buffalo Bills. On top of all that, the great “leader” Allen-led team faced back-to-back two consecutive losses before their clash against the Jets. The series of disappointments was so that Josh Allen and the infamous Madden curse were associated together by many. But, these appear to be the worries of the past now! In his last game, it seems the 27-year-old QB is “back,” as he got inspired by the film series character John Wick.

In the last matchup on Sunday, the Bills faced off against the New York Jets. During the game, Josh Allen’s longest touchdown pass brought back his image and confidence, which football enthusiasts felt he had lost. Prior to this amazing touchdown, Allen could be seen boosting the confidence of his team commenting, “Love y’all boys huh! Strap it up for each other. ”

However, the real essence of their team work was visible in the midst of the third quarter in the game. As the three man rush was executed, Allen threw a pass to wide receiver Khalil Shakir, who did not waste any time in executing a historic display of skill.

The 23-year-old WR ran for an electrifying touchdown of 81 yards, the longest play of this season in the NFL. After this phenomenal touchdown, cameras consequently captured Josh Allen’s reaction on the sidelines, where he could be heard saying, “I feel like I am back.

The Bills won over the Jets with a record of outstanding 32-6. In the post-game conference, Allen was asked about his pumped-up celebration, in which he said, “I watched John Wick 3, that’s what he said so…it was just pumped up on the sideline.

He referred to John Wick, a film series character who comes back after his retirement to get his goal done in the part 3 movie. Hence, Josh Allen feels the same as he is back after six games of consecutive interceptions. Besides that, Allen also emphasized that winning the game and scoring some touchdowns had him pumped up.
