Hold onto your hats, Swifties—Travis Kelce’s making his big acting debut in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series, Grotesquerie—and the trailer just dropped! Fans of both Taylor Swift and Kelce are buzzing, and the internet is ablaze with excitement. 

The first look at the show, starring Kelce alongside Niecy Nash, has social media in a frenzy. The Kansas City star’s new acting gig is getting some seriously mixed but overwhelmingly excited reactions. Comments like “Don’t blink or you’ll miss it” and “Wait. Taylor Swift’s boyfriend’s gonna be in a movie?” are popping up everywhere. So, while Chiefs’ Kelce’s transition to acting has fans in a tizzy, he’s already raving about the experience and his role in the series.

Travis Kelce raves about his acting debut in Grotesquerie

The Chiefs’ tight end opened up about his acting debut in Murphy’s upcoming series. On the New Heights podcast, Kelce couldn’t help but gush over the gig, calling it “so much fun.” He gave major props to Murphy, praising him as an “unbelievable writer, director, and producer.” 

The Super Bowl champ also mentioned how the team’s been super supportive, noting, “Everybody’s just been so helpful in making me feel comfortable and… giving me kinda the direction I need and the coaching I need to portray this part that I’m in.” He kept the deets about his character and episode count under wraps but hinted it’s a big role. The 34-year-old admitted he feels “like an amateur,” but joked, “I haven’t gotten fired yet, so we’re doing good.”

The Chiefs’ TE was blown away that Murphy offered him this opportunity, sharing, “He seemed very confident that I’d be able to do this, and he kinda injected that in me the first conversation that we had. So hopefully I don’t bomb this for him.” But he’s taking it scene by scene and learning that acting is much more than just memorizing lines.
