The internet never forgets, and neither do Swifties. Five years might seem like a long time, but when it comes to the Taylor Swift, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian drama, fans keep the receipts ready. Now, thanks to Barstool Sports founder and unexpected Swiftie Dave Portnoy, the internet is buzzing again over a moment that had Swifties celebrating back in 2020.

Portnoy hopped on Instagram with a simple but bold four-word message: “Never forgive. Never forget.” His post came on the anniversary of a major win for Taylor’s camp. The day her publicist, Tree Paine, publicly called out Kim Kardashian for twisting the truth about the infamous 2016 phone call with Kanye. On March 23, 2020, Swifties finally got the proof they had been waiting for, and five years later, Portnoy is making sure nobody forgets.

For those who need a refresher, here’s the deal. Back in 2016, Kim leaked a super-edited version of Taylor’s phone call with Kanye, trying to make it look like Taylor was cool with the lyrics in Famous. But in 2020, the full, unedited call leaked, proving that Taylor had never approved of Kanye calling her “that bitch.” Tree Paine wasted no time setting the record straight, saying, “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.’

Kim, of course, wasn’t having it and clapped back, saying, “To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that ‘Kanye never called to ask for permission.’” But Swifties weren’t buying it. They pointed out that Kim’s argument was just wordplay. Taylor never said Kanye didn’t call, just that he never asked for approval of that lyric. The internet quickly flipped, realizing Taylor had been dragged unfairly for years.

Now, Portnoy’s post is a reminder that Swifties don’t let things slide. Seeing a sports media mogul like him backing Taylor just proves how deep this controversy runs. This wasn’t just some petty celebrity feud. It was a full-blown media manipulation moment, and Swifties aren’t letting anyone rewrite history.

Snowy vibes & a surprise third wheel

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are deep in their soft-launch era of off-season vacations. This time, sneaking off to a snowy Montana retreat. But plot twist—it wasn’t just a romantic baecation. The duo was spotted grabbing dinner at a hidden speakeasy with none other than sportscaster Erin Andrews. Talk about an elite third-wheeling moment.

If you’re wondering why Erin was in the mix, she’s basically the fairy godmother of this relationship. Back in 2023, after Kelce’s failed attempt to shoot his shot at Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour, Erin went full wingwoman mode. On her Calm Down podcast, she straight-up told Taylor to give him a chance. And, well, the rest is history. Kelce later joked he “owed” Erin for setting things in motion. And now, here they are, all besties vibing in Montana.

This snowy escape is just another stop on Taylor and Travis’ off-season world tour. Since the Super Bowl, they’ve been jetting from one winter wonderland to another—first a mystery trip, then Park City, and even a quick NYC flex at the ultra-exclusive Crane Club. Honestly, these two stay booked and unbothered.

Neither of them has posted about this trip (classic), but Swifties are already putting the pieces together. Whether they’re hitting the slopes or sneaking into speakeasies. Taylor and Travis are making the most of their time before her Eras Tour picks back up. And with Erin in the mix, it’s giving friendship goals.
