Things are not all right with the Philadelphia Eagles. After securing the NFC championship and going to the Super Bowl last season, their chances this time around are looking bleak. The Eagles did not start the season this way, but for almost a month now, the team has had issues.
Before the start of December, the Eagles were 10-1 with two 5-game winning streaks. This helped them in gaining a place in the playoffs. But for the last month, the Eagles are 1-3. Now sports personality Nick Wright has pointed out three reasons for this unbearable run of form.

“I think Philly right now is super vulnerable”, announced Wright on The Herd with Colin Cowherd show. But his analysis went deeper than declaring what looks obvious to every football fan around the world. Wright pointed out three key elements in the expected downfall of the Eagles in the postseason.
“Philadelphia has looked bad for a month …their game comes down to the wire, they can’t stop anyone through the air”, said Wright. He correctly pointed out that even against the minnows like the New York Giants, the team from Philadelphia looked sluggish and defensively poor.

“Their quarterback is not healthy and is not playing great”, Wright pointed out the inconsistency of Jalen Hurts. Over the last four games, Hurts has managed only 2 TDs but has been intercepted 3 times.
The last reason that Wright mentions cuts deep into the current situation at the Eagles. He said, “Everyone on the team keeps telling you something’s wrong.” The staff and players, either through their actions or words, have been suggesting that something is not up to the mark at the Eagles’ camp.
The divisive voices in the Eagles camp
In recent times, several players pointed out in the media that the team was not playing well. One of the most contentious decisions that sowed divisiveness was the demotion of defensive coordinator Sean Desai. A decision that hasn’t been taken by any NFL franchise with a winning record in more than 2 decades.

HC Nick Sirianni after the loss against the Dallas Cowboys, demoted Desai and promoted Matt Patricia to the role of DC. This revolutionary change, however, hasn’t proved to be fruitful yet. The Eagles lost their very next game against the Seattle Seahawks after the change and didn’t look defensively solid in their last game as well.
