We have our Super Bowl teams for this year! The reigning champions Kansas City Chiefs will be defending their title against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 11 in a rematch of the Super Bowl LIV. This will be the first time Vegas will host the Super Bowl and the anticipation is high as ever. But will the hostile climate and conditions of the desert affect the game?

On Sunday, two of the best teams in the NFL this season will clash against each other in the desert. Both will have their eyes on the prize of the Super Bowl, the most coveted trophy in the sports, once again.

For the first time since the Super Bowl was introduced back in 1967, it will be contested in Sin City. And though much fanfare, excitement, and opportunities arise with the location. One must not forget the desert conditions that will also be applicable while playing in Las Vegas. For 11th February, the forecast predicts a nice 54-degree temperature around the day. And it is predicted to drop to 37 degrees in the evening. Chances of rain are very low throughout the day, however, it will be a windy day, with winds blowing at 5.1 mph.

The Allegiant Stadium, however, is a completely domed stadium, with weather control. Hence, the winds will not have much influence over the game. But will their history against each other have an impact on the game?

Both teams have clashed against each other 15 times and the Chiefs lead the series 8-7. But the 49ers will be looking to exact their revenge for Super Bowl LIV. In 2020, both teams won their conferences and came face-to-face for the Super Bowl.

It was Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs that had the last laugh, winning the Super Bowl 31-20. But four years later the 49ers are even stronger and with Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey in top form. The 49ers have an opportunity to not only equal the series but also avenge their 2020 loss.
