Winning the Super Bowl is the ultimate dream for every NFL player—but let’s be real, the fat paycheck that comes with it isn’t too bad either. Whether it’s the Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles lifting the Lombardi Trophy, the players are walking away with some serious cash.
The winning team? Every player secures a $171K bonus, while the losing team still walks away with $96K—which, let’s be honest, is still a financial W. And that’s on top of the $77K they already locked in for winning their conference. Just for reference, when these two teams last met in the Super Bowl, the bonus was $157K for the winners and $82K for the losers, so yeah, the money’s only going up. Next season, they might hand out $200k for the winners and $100k for the losers. You never know!
Now, not everyone gets the full check. If you’ve been on the roster for less than three games before the Super Bowl, you’re only getting half. Injured players? They might see a quarter or half, depending on their contract situation and how long they’ve been in the league. Still, even a fraction of this payout is a solid amount.

And of course, the winners aren’t just getting the cash—they’re getting rings, the Lombardi Trophy, and GOAT-level bragging rights. But hey, if you’re on the losing side, at least you can cry into a fat $96K check.
And, players aren’t the only ones securing the bag—Chiefs’ Andy Reid is making some serious coin too.
Coaches getting the bag: Andy Reid’s bonus & Kellen Moore’s new gig
NFL insider Tom Pelissero spilled the tea that Big Red has already racked up $1.5M in playoff bonuses, and if the Chiefs win, he gets another $2M. That’s a grand total of $3.5M just for coaching through the postseason. “That’s a lot of cheeseburgers,” Pelissero joked, because we all know Andy loves his cheeseburgers. In fact, who doesn’t?

Meanwhile, Kellen Moore is leveling up. Ian Rapoport confirmed that the Eagles’ OC is set to become the new head coach of the New Orleans Saints. The Saints have been waiting for this moment, but they had to play by the rules and wait until Philly’s season was over before locking him in. Now, he’s about to assemble his squad, with Brandon Staley (ex-Chargers HC) possibly coming in as DC and Doug Nussmeier from the Eagles’ staff in the mix.

The Eagles, on the other hand, might lose some key players. Zack Baun, a Defensive Player of the Year finalist, is about to cash out in free agency, and let’s be honest, Philly doesn’t really throw the bag at linebackers. Then there’s Mekhi Becton, who loves being an Eagle but admits thinking about free agency gives him major anxiety. “If I start to do that, it’s gonna be a problem,” he told Mike Garafolo.
And then we’ve got Brandon Graham, the Eagles’ legend who’s back after a torn tricep. This might be his last ride, but he’s keeping his options open. “Give it about a week,” he said about making a final decision on retirement. Either way, Super Bowl Sunday isn’t just about winning—it’s about securing wealth and fame, from the players to the coaches.
