This is it! Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs might finally be dubbed a “dynasty” now. The game lasted an eternity, but they successfully clinched the Lombardi Trophy at the Super Bowl LVIII. The Déjà vu moment came true for both teams and the San Francisco 49ers suffered the same fate they did back in 2020.
A reporter caught hold of the Kansas City Chiefs QB and wanted him to spill the beans about the game that went to overtime. Safe to say Mahomes has a new plan for the dynasty and the newfound label is here to stay for quite some time. The Kansas City Chiefs became the second team of the century to win back-to-back Super Bowls! This is what Mahomes had to say about his team.

“He (God) challenged us to make us better and I’m proud of my guys man, this is awesome. It’s legendary” said Mahomes of his Super Bowl victory. He further was asked about the establishment of a dynasty of the Chiefs, to which the QB replied, “This is the start of the dynasty.”
This became Mahomes’ 3 Super Bowl Championship win and the game went to overtime. This was the 7 longest game in Super Bowl history and every moment was worth it.
It would have been boring if it was a blowout game from either side. Rather, the teams made each and every second count. It was somehow reminiscent of the Chiefs last Super Bowl against the Niners, because Patrick Mahomes and co didn’t start putting in points till late in the second quarter.
