In the recent pre-game conference, the 49ers backbone made his grand appearance to discuss the upcoming matchup against the Chiefs. As the conversation progressed, the panelist asked about his viewpoint on the Chiefs by saying, “You know Chiefs are on top of the football world have been Mahomes Reed how do you view the challenge in front of you guys from just a standpoint from a team with a quarterback that has won multiple Super Bowls.”
During a question-and-answer session, the coach highlighted the five primary threats that the team might face from the Chiefs. He mentioned that it is not a coincidence that they have such a good team. According to Shanahan, Patrick Mahomes is tough to beat, as he possesses an exceptional talent and skill set. Additionally, the coach appreciated the team’s scheme, led by Andy and Mahomes’s experience.
Regardless of the type of game, whether high or low-scoring, and even if the Chiefs are struggling, they always have the chance to win as long as they can keep it close. The coach also appreciated the defense and good coaching staff, essential for winning most games. Well, the head coach is not wrong, considering the attainments of the Chiefs in the past few seasons.

The Chiefs have grabbed good luck after adding Patrick Mahomes to the team. Ever since he became the starter in 2018, the Chiefs have had 66 regular season wins. While the teams’ defense struggled in the beginning, the 2023 season showed a massive improvement with the coming of Safety Justin Reid in the team. Even since Andy Reid joined the Chiefs, the Red Army has won two Super Bowls and five Super Bowl appearances since 2019.

Mahomes also shook up the NFL scene with his incredible performance this regular season, including 241 yards and completing 30 out of 39 passes… his prowess is even acknowledged by Tom Brady, who said,” I think Patrick is a tremendous player. He’s a great leader. I think that’s one part everyone would look at.” But again, the 49ers are not to be underestimated, considering Brock Purdy’s dominant performance that considers him an MVP-worthy player.
