The Super Bowl LIX stage is set! Just one day is left for us to witness either a history in the making or a successful revenge at the Caesars Superdome. Patrick Mahomes’s Kansas City Chiefs stands just one step away from creating a historic 3-peat in the NFL. It is something that has never been done before. But let’s not forget that Jalen Hurts’s Philadelphia Eagles, who emerged strong this season in the NFC, will also be ending their 12-year SB drought, if they win. So, as the teams prepare for the ultimate showdown, the skies above will tell their own story.

This year, the honor of the big game’s flyover belongs to the United States Marine Corps, marking their 250th anniversary in style. The aircraft you’ll see soaring overhead will be the MV-22 Osprey. And guess what? They’ve traveled all the way from Miramar, California, and New River, North Carolina, just for this moment.

US aircraft officer, Kagan Dunlap, announced this news with the NFL fans on his social media platforms. He shared the video of these Super Bowl aircrafts introducing them, as they are heading to take the center stage on Sunday, February 9. While making this announcement, Dunlap also made sure to inform through a caption, saying, “The MV-22s that are going to do the Fly Over for the Super Bowl.

In the video, Dunlap urged the NFL fans to acknowledge the hard work of the Marines. Displaying the aircrafts in the video, he expressed, “All these aircraft you see here, I’m on a flight line right now, all these aircraft right here are the same aircraft that are going to be conducting the flyover for the Super Bowl. So when you’re sitting at home watching the Super Bowl and you’re eating your cheese puffs and your nacho cheese and your chicken wings and your pizza and your bagel bites or whatever it is, these are the aircraft that are going to be doing the flyover…..So when you see that, just know it’s the Marines that are doing it.

These Marine Corps’s cutting-edge tilt-rotor aircraft beasts take off like helicopters. But, once airborne, their propellers shift, letting them fly like airplanes. Since 2007, they’ve been on combat missions, but on Sunday, they’ll be on a different kind of mission—soaring over the Caesars Superdome.

And let us remind you, like this year’s aircraft, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts 2023 battle flyovers too created a buzz on the internet.
