Is Trevor Lawrence the future of the Jaguars, or just another overhyped QB?

If things aren’t working, perhaps a change in them will. Many NFL fans have the same concerns regarding the Jacksonville Jaguars, following their 47-10 defeat to the Bills. Even head coach Doug Pederson is considering a much-needed change in the team. This change we are here referring to can be for the QB of the team.

If you didn’t already know, Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is under fire for the team’s three losses. The true cause behind this is the rookie quarterback’s inability to make rapid decisions. Even former NFL player James Jones agrees with this. The NFL icon was present at the recent edition of The Facility, where he stated that the team needs to reform. He also called out head coach Doug Pederson and asked him to replace the quarterback. He exclaimed, “We got to stop with the excuses. Trevor Lawrence is an average QB in the NFL at best.”

Not only did James Jones declare Lawrence a mediocre quarterback, but he also called him out for missing easy throws. The legend said, “He missed high school throws.” Many supporters have even demanded this change, claiming that if the quarterback isn’t right, the team won’t be able to perform at full power. Doug Pederson, the HC, has also acknowledged that they are evaluating this difficult decision. Although his statements made it evident that he is willing to go all out for his team. The reason is that it’s now or never.

Doug Pederson acknowledged that the Jaguars are not at all a good team

Just think how much the HC was frustrated when he stated, “You hate to say it, but this is the reality of it. This is who we are right now, and we’re not a very good football team.” The Jaguars’ performance this season confirms this remark since the team has lost three straight games.

The management is furious, and the loss to the Bills has just added to their frustration. The whole staff is currently discussing the possibility of making big changes to the team. We all know that the Jaguars have not given their all due to injuries, which is why the head coach is at a loss on what to do. Although this is the case, Doug Pederson has stated that he would do his best with what is on the table.
