Haters gonna hate, but does Brittany Mahomes' clap back make her a role model?

The Kansas City Chiefs QB and three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes’s wife did a throwback with her redhead look that got the internet talking last time out. Back in April, Brittany Mahomes transformed her hair while sharing a few photos on her Instagram captioned, “Feeling spicy.”

Although she returned to her usual blonde look a few days later, she has again shared a post on her story by laurabethartisry that was captioned, “This was so fun.” After stunning everyone with her red hair, the responses might not have been too positive as Brittiany clapped back at her haters through her Instagram story. She used three words to offer an elaboration on the negative views, “I mean honestly.”

In the same story, she bashed the haters, stating, “To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed, and you hate to see others doing well.” Well, looking at her words, Brittany might have had enough of the abuse she has faced online.

But when it comes to a positive outlook, her husband was by her side, appreciating Brittany’s hair transformation. Back then, he re-posted her original post, which has since been deleted or expired. During that time, the Kansas City Current soccer team co-owner flaunted her red hairstyle, which hairstylist Laurabeth Cabott did in a photo shoot with a black top on.

Well, she not only posted herself with the new look but also clicked a few pictures of her daughter Sterling, who was dressed in grey sweats. But looking at the reception she received this time around, it was all too familiar for Brittany, who had to face online abuse when she debuted for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit this year.

Brittany Mahomes faced trolls after her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut

The three-time Super Bowl MVP’s wife is pretty accustomed to the online hate she continues to receive. Although she has clapped back to the recent comments made about her, she did a similar thing after being announced as the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie back on February 8th. Letting her fans in on the excitement, Brittany captioned her Instagram story, “I’m here to tell you that people will dislike you, people will love you. Don’t let any of that define you. Keep SHINING and being YOU.”

However, this post of her came after SI officially announced her entrance in the pages of SI Swimsuit’s 6oth anniversary issues as a 2024 rookie. Looking back at the post that read, “The entrepreneur and mom of two will be featured alongside our roster of women who empower, inspire and use their platforms to be both seen and heard.”

Continuing on her excitement, Brittany stated, “I never in my wildest dreams thought this would happen. I’m so thankful and honored and so excited to be here with this team.” Well, the mom of two also added how she was in disbelief after receiving the news. And, never in a million years would she have thought to grace the pages of SI with a series of bikini pics wearing a red Mugler one-piece swimsuit. Similar to Mahomes’ reaction after his wife got her hair dyed, he reposted the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Instagram announcement on his story with three red heart emojis.
