Is Jason Kelce retiring or not? It seems to be the elephant in the room and has made the Philadelphia Eagles fans frantic. While some fans have prepared themselves to let go of one of the most accomplished centers in the league, others cannot watch him cut ties with the sport of football. Recently, we saw him visiting media houses like Prime and FOX to focus on his entertainment career. Is that his final decision?

Well, apparently not. Because he is still in the process of figuring it out. But judging by the way the Eagles season ended, Jason Kelce might not retire (a speculation at this point) because he might want to depart on a winning note. He lets his feelings out on The Big Podcast with Shaq.

Shaq didn’t waste time and asked Kelce the burning question of the hour. “So, you’re retiring now, right?” asked Shaq to Jason Kelce and added, “What has to happen for you to play next season?”. However, the First Team All-Pro had a pretty simple answer to Shaq’s question and his thoughts didn’t seem to come from a place of reflection.

“Still figuring it out,” Kelce said simply and added, If I still want to play, I’m going to play. I think you know right now we’re not far enough away from the last game. It’s emotional, it’s a long season. We ended the season quite frankly awful, we know that.”  And added, “I just going to take some time to rest, recoup, and then figure it out.”

Well, it would seem like Jason Kelce would have a lot of time to think about his next course of action because the regular season will not start till September. He’s already started taking tours of a couple of places.

It would seem so. The Eagles’ Centre visited Amazon Prime, FOX, and ESPN to get a potential job as a host for Thursday Night Football. The news was first broken by Front Office Sports. We already know that Amazon did a documentary on Jason Kelce, so the idea that he might join Prime’s network doesn’t seem far-fetched.

Also, his podcast with his brother Travis Kelce is too popular for him not to pursue. It might work out for him. But in the long run, the Kelce family might pressure their management to open up new sources of work soon. By the looks of it, they are blessed with a plethora of choices if they ever want to switch careers.
