Patrick Mahomes and his teammates have decimated every team that has stood in their path. They are now the only unbeaten squad this season. After winning two Super Bowls in a row, this level of dominance indicates that the club possesses the ‘IT’ factor. Although the Chiefs have gained popularity among supporters, another club has risen to the top to compete with them.
Yes, we’re talking about the Baltimore Ravens, who have dramatically improved in recent weeks. Under Lamar Jackson, the team has truly shined, and as a result, comparisons to the Chiefs have been made. This comparison was also debated on the ESPN channel, and certain analysts were asked to select their favorites. Among those analysts, Stephen A. Smith offered an honest assessment and chose the Chiefs.
Smith admitted that while the Ravens are terrific, the Chiefs are in another league. Under Patrick Mahomes’ leadership, the team has performed admirably on offense and defense. The squad can recover from any scenario, and guys like Travis Kelce are accountable for that. Great quarterback? Check. Great Defense? Check. Great weapons? Check. What more does a team need?

Smith during the expression said, “I am still going to say Chiefs, I mean when you think Patrick Mahomes and what he brings to the table. When you think about their defense and how they have the potential to neutralize the running game….. Travis Kelce isn’t having the greatest year but he is still T Kelce he’s still that dude okay!”
Aside from all of this, Smith noted that their quarterback is one of the reasons the squad is so dominant this season.

The NFL pundit did not stop there and went on to discuss how the team is working on its recent failures. Smith remarked that the Chiefs dropped the most passes last year (44). This year, the team has also struggled in this particular area but looks like things will improve now. Despite several major injuries and losses, the Chiefs did not give up and sought to trade for a star such as DeAndre Hopkins.

The analyst stated, “To go out there and get somebody like DeHop and knowing what he is capable of bringing to the table. And Patrick Mahomes is the dude that is throwing you the football…… I definitely think because of the collection of assets they have available to them. Andy Reid calling play, DeHop catching passes, Patrick Mahomes throwing them, having a great defensive player like Travis Kelce.”
