Stephen A. Smith dropped a bombshell in the sports world regarding the Kansas City Chiefs on his show ‘First Take’, along with an important analysis. Despite the flood of predictions on Josh Allen’s Bills versus Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs game on November 17, some intelligent and experienced analysts have offered opinions that could be bad news for Chiefs’ fans.
A countdown to an insane chaos has begun as the three-time Super Bowl-winning team is coming to Buffalo. Both the key figures fought their latest 27-24 game on January 21, 2024, culminating in ousting the Bills out of the season for the third time in a row.
“I believe so”, Stephen A. Smith revealed when asked about “will the Chiefs get their first loss of the season?”. The 57-year-old football expert continued, “I’m gonna predict, anybody is not going 16-0. And, I think, this is the toughest game left on the Kansas City Chiefs’ schedule.”

But before you make any comment, Smith explained further why does he think so about the November 17 game. The sports journalist admitted, “Not only you going up against the Buffalo Bills, that is looked better than any of us anticipated. That has the MVP caliber player in the QB position.”
Mr. Greed, as Stephen A. Smith’s colleagues jokingly call him, also cleared the air on the Bills’ mindset for the upcoming game. After accepting the fact that ‘there is no reason for the Chiefs to lack confidence’, he unraveled feelings for the Bills, reiterating, “You should be looking at them [the Chiefs], seeing some holes and being able to say – I think we can take them. Sunday game is the prime opportunity for the Buffalo Bills to do that.”

Have an interesting take?
Josh Allen and the squad have faced off against the Chiefs collectively seven times, naming victory over 3 out of four regular season games, since 2020. After their first loss to the opponent, the Bills have maintained a winning streak against the Chiefs in the past three regular seasons. Yes, this is where the game intensifies for the upcoming game! To some extent, at least, the stats are settling down the fog for Buffalo to expect a win.
But let’s not forget, the Bills’ victorious stats end in the playoffs. How? The Chiefs have never disappointed their fans in the playoffs against the Bills, preserving a 3-0 record where it matters the most.

Though they have a fierce rivalry on the field, both QBs share a respectful brotherhood. It’s a supplement to what the Chiefs QB admitted last year, “There’s a ton of respect both ways. He’s a really good dude. That’s why his team plays so well for him”.
The Bill’s jersey No. 17 has also confessed once, “We haven’t beaten them in the playoffs, that’s the only thing that kind of matters.” However, his counterpart also acknowledged, “To win this game, we have to play our best football. If we don’t, we’re going to lose.”

Into the half-season currently, the Chiefs QB has a QBR of 67.7, higher than his last season’s overall. Compared to his opponent on the upcoming Sunday game, the Bills QB has a 70.3 quarterback rating. In terms of completion percentage, the Bills’ jersey No.17 has a CMP% of 63.5 for 2281 passing yards. Conversely, Mahomes has completed 69.5% of his passes and has thrown 9 interceptions, while Allen has thrown only 4. So, it will be an opportunity for the Chiefs to break the losing streak of three years and for the Bills to preserve their winning history.
The game of the year will be on November 17, 2024, at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, where the Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs beat the Bills in playoffs last year.
