Sore & Tired Josh Allen Is All Smiles After Settling Scores With Tampa Bay Buccaneers Almost 2 Years Later

Josh Allen has finally settled scores with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buffalo Bills quarterback took the early lead against the Bucs and capitalized on the lead, moving forward in the game. However, the sporting landscape is one of the unpredicted landscapes, where no one knows whose day it’s going to be. In a similar manner, the Bills quarterback Josh Allen revived himself against the Bucs, after a defeat that was lodged in his name in the NFL books. 

The week 8 matchup was a thriller. The Bucs played their seventh game of the season, whereas the Bills played their eighth game of the season. And finally, Allen has settled scores with the Bucs. 

Josh Allen is settling scores 

NFL journalist Mike Garafolo shared a video on his Twitter account featuring Josh Allen in a post-match presentation. Earlier, the Bucs were leading on Allen with one victory against him in 2021. Since then, the week 8 matchup of the 2023 season was an opportunity for Allen to revive himself, and he successfully did that. 

Captioning the video, Garofolo wrote, “With Josh Allen for after the Bills’ win over the Buccaneers: “It’s gonna take a lot for me not to play. I’m going to be a little sore for a couple of days. … I’m glad it’s a Thursday night game. We’ll have some time to rest.”

The Bucs and Allen are now with a score of 1-1. Allen’s promising performance in the game was one of the primary reasons behind the Bills’ victory against the Buccaneers.

Quarterback Josh Allen is having one of the best times of his life. In recent weeks, he has been having his best passing performance. Allen completed 31 of 40 passes, donning a percentage of 77.5% for 324 yards. Moreover, in the game, Allen had two passing touchdowns and one interception. The game was his third 300-yard passing game of the season.

With five victories and three defeats in eight games, the Bills are standing strong in the season.
