But things were different at Arrowhead. The Sporting KC went against Inter Miami in a game that witnessed a record-breaking crowd in a long time. The game was supposed to be played at the Children’s Mercy Park, which has a capacity of little more than 18.4k people. But the overwhelming response from the fans required a change of venue.

Fortunately, Patrick Mahomes was there to attend the game and he even had a brief conversation with Messi before the game. This was the highest-attended match in the Sporting KC history, and it wasn’t even supposed to happen at Arrowhead.
