Veteran commentator Skip Bayless has picked the Rams over the Cowboys after the Rams’ menacing comeback. The Rams lost their way mid-season but now have won five out of their last six. Their recent thumping victory over the Saints (30-22) has seemingly made Bayless a happier man.

The Saints fell flat on their faces after losing control of the game’s flow. The Rams completely owned the first three quarters, while the Saints struggled with Dennis Allen’s ‘handcrafted’ defense. Notably, the Saints struggled under pressure throughout the game. With this triumph, the Rams improved to 8-7, by opening up a wildcard chance. 72-year-old Bayless was quick to notice the same and won a bet against legendary WR Keyshawn Johnson.

Skip Bayless and Keyshawn Johnson are not new to the world of NFL having been providing expert opinions. Recently, Bayless stated that Johnson owes him a dinner following Rams-Saints. An ecstatic Bayless took it to X (formerly Twitter) and revealed the matter. He wrote, “Oh, well, Keyshawn lost another dinner to me on Rams-Saints.” Well, congratulations to Bayless!

He further showered praise on the Rams’ rise and gave his opinion on the Cowboys, “The Rams, winners of five of the last six, have become the team you would not want to play in the playoffs. The Cowboys are.” Matthew Stafford secured two TDs, while the Rams’ wide receiver Puka Nacua emerged as the star in this game. With a slow start to the season, the QB has picked up pace and has registered 14 TDs and 2 interceptions in just five games. The Rams’ resurgence has truly been proved remarkable, putting others on notice! The team has upped their offensive game at the right time, increasing their playoff chances.

After losing 43-20 against their longstanding NFC rivals earlier this season, Rams’ win over the Saints has bolstered their hopes of securing a playoff spot. Coming back to Skip Bayless, the Cowboys’ ‘superfan’ recently got rid of Micah Parsons’ Cowboys jersey after being irked by the team’s loss against Bills. He also referred to the team as “pretenders”.

Notably, the Cowboys has secured a playoff spot, but their recent loss (31-10) against the Buffalo Bills has proved that the team could succumb under pressure. The team also has to watch out for its fumbling defense, and personal foul penalties. Will the Cowboys make a comeback, with the playoffs just around the corner? Tell us in the comments below.
