The New York Jets have planned a duo surprise for Aaron Rodgers! As per the reports, the franchise recently is looking to extend a 4-year deal of wide receiver Garrett Wilson. Additionally, he will be getting his receiver partner in Mike Williams.
Ever since the Jets hired Rodgers, they have picked up the winning motto for the team. However, due to unfortunate situations, their dreams derailed for a season. But to ensure that the Jets have strong weapons to back them up, there have been some recent changed in the roster. Aaron Rodgers was recently rumored to be one of the top candidates for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s list for VP. However, later the rumors were debunked, as RFK has now picked Bay Area lawyer Nicole Shanahan as the potential running mate. As the rumors ended shortly, NFL analyst Skip Bayless has another title to give A-Rod in this situation. The Jets are hiring Mike Williams, and extending the contract of Garrett Wilson. So, Bayless took to social media to congratulate Rogers, bestowing upon him a much bigger role than being a rumored VP.
Bayless on his official X account, shared, “I hate to say it but … congrats, Aaron Rodgers. Garrett Wilson AND Mike Williams? Forget vice president. You might be able to run for Commander in Chief.”

According to the reports, the Jets are signing free agent Williams for a one-year deal worth up to $15 million. Between 2018 and 2022, Rodgers reportedly threw for the most yards in the league, around 6,387, when aiming for deep passes. Now with Wilson and Williams, as wide receivers and the versatile Hall as a running back, the Jets have a well-rounded offense that can threaten defenses across the field. So, as the team is being prepared, how well-versed is Rodgers with his winning plan?
Besides getting his two helping hands for the next season, Rodgers is rumored to return from Ayahuasca retreat. In January, A-Rod mentioned that he is planning on doing ayahuasca again this off-season, and also allegedly “encouraged people to look into it.”
