The Patriots and the Chiefs haven’t faced each other in quite some time now. Their last meeting was in 2020 and the Chiefs came out on top winning 26-10 at Arrowhead. Not only that, the Chiefs have led the Patriots in the series since 1960, dating back to the AFC days by 20-16-3. But after the recent win, can the Patriots and Belichick mount a comeback?

The last time the Patriots defeated the Chiefs was back in 2019 when Tom Brady was still at the helm of the squad. Ever since then, the Patriots haven’t been the same. Especially this season, which has been one of the worst in Belichick’s career. They are 3-10 with no hopes of making it to the playoffs.

Slipping to 3rd in the AFC playoff picture after the disappointing loss to the Bills, the Chiefs have to showcase their grit. Their never-ending passion to win will come in handy not only in being victorious but also in securing the home-field advantage for the playoffs.

The Chiefs have shown that they can overcome adversity and bounce back from tough losses. They did it in 2020 when they won the Super Bowl after going down by 10 points in the fourth against the 49ers. They did it again in 2021 when they rallied from a 24-0 deficit against the Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs.
